OGDEN, Utah-Wednesday, Weber State kick returner/receiver Rashid Shaheed obtained two more All-American team honors, being named as an Athlon and American Football Coaches Association All-American.
Shaheed, who is the all-time NCAA FCS leader in kickoff returns for scores with 7, also averaged 28.7 yards per kickoff return this season for the Wildcats and returned a pair for touchdowns.
Showcasing his versatility, Shaheed led the Wildcats with 39 receptions for 695 yards and four scores as a receiver.
Shaheed was named as a first-team All-American at kick returner by Athlon and received second-team All-American honors as a kick returner on the AFCA squad.
Also making the second team AFCA squad was Southern Utah offensive lineman Braxton Jones, a former Murray High School standout.
