PRICE, Utah-Malia Smith scored twice and the Carbon Dinos blanked Delta 3-0 in Region 12 girls soccer play Tuesday. Bailey Johnson also found the net in victory for the Dinos. Madi Barlow earned the shutout in the net for Carbon in victory.
NEPHI, Utah-Bethanee Vargas recorded a hat trick and the Canyon View Falcons smacked Juab 8-0 Tuesday in Region 12 girls soccer play. Maya Nichols and Erin Hallows (2 goals apiece) and Emery Miles (goal) also scored in the win for Canyon View. Tess Bailey earned the shutout in the net for the Falcons.
MANTI, Utah-Taylie Mickelsen posted a hat trick and the Manti Templars pounded Richfield 6-0 in Region 12 girls soccer play Tuesday. Madelyn Bridges (2 goals) and Brooklyn Olson also scored in the win for the Templars. Alyssa Whitney earned the shutout in the net for Manti.
MT. PLEASANT, Utah-Caleigh Mickel netted a hat trick and the North Sanpete Hawks got past Emery 7-5 Tuesday in Region 12 girls soccer play. Abigail Philpot (2 goals), Janey Mitchell and Ellie Finlinson (goal apiece) led the Hawks in the win. Illyria Mason posted a hat trick in defeat for the Spartans.
