PRICE, Utah-The Carbon Dinos blanked Juab 3-0 in Region 12 volleyball action Thursday. The Dinos bested the Wasps 25-19, 25-11, 25-20 to achieve the straight sets victory.
RICHFIELD, Utah-The Canyon View Falcons edged Richfield 3-2 Thursday in Region 12 volleyball play. The Falcons outlasted the Wildcats 18-25, 25-23, 25-15, 20-25, 15-13.
DELTA, Utah-The Emery Spartans downed Delta 3-1 at the Palladium in Region 12 volleyball play Thursday. The Spartans prevailed 25-20, 24-26, 25-18, 25-18 over the Rabbits.
MANTI, Utah-The Manti Templars stormed past North Sanpete 3-0 Thursday in Region 12 volleyball play. The Templars downed the Hawks 25-15, 25-16, 25-13 for the straight sets win.
Region 15
COALVILLE, Utah-Hayzlyn Murdock posted 16 kills and the North Summit Braves edged North Sevier 3-2 in Region 15 volleyball play Thursday. The Braves downed the Wolves 25-12, 25-12, 19-25, 23-25, 15-13.
Region 16
SALT LAKE CITY-Ellie Menning recorded 15 kills and the Intermountain Christian Lions blanked Wasatch Academy 3-0 Thursday in Region 16 volleyball play. The Lions prevailed 25-20, 25-17, 25-9 to down the Tigers in straight sets.
Region 18
BEAVER, Utah-The Enterprise Wolves downed Beaver 3-0 in Region 18 volleyball play. The Wolves got past the Beavers 25-23, 25-23, 25-21 to earn the straight sets victory.
Girls Soccer
Region 12
DELTA, Utah-Meg Nielson scored and the Delta Rabbits outlasted Carbon 1 (4), 1 (3) in Region 12 girls soccer play Thursday. Allie Smith scored in the loss for the Dinos.
CEDAR CITY, Utah-Bethanee Vargas scored twice and the Canyon View Falcons clobbered Juab 8-0 Thursday in Region 12 girls soccer play. Gracie Burt posted the shutout for the Falcons.
CASTLE DALE, Utah-The North Sanpete Hawks hammered Emery 5-0 in Region 12 girls soccer play Thursday.
RICHFIELD, Utah-Kaylee Parry scored and the Manti Templars blanked Richfield 1-0 Thursday in Region 12 girls soccer play. Alyssa Whitney recorded the shutout for the Templars.
2A South
FILLMORE, Utah-Kailey Thurman, Maggie Stephens and Kadi Dearden scored two goals apiece and the Millard Eagles trounced South Sevier 8-0 in 2A South girls soccer play Thursday. Carlie Dearden and Carley Braman also scored in the win for the Eagles. Savannah Wright recorded the shutout for the Eagles.
BEAVER, Utah-Bella Robinson amassed a hat trick and the Parowan Rams pounded Beaver 6-1 Thursday in 2A South girls soccer play. Abbi Cox scored in the loss for the Beavers.
