JUNCTION, Utah-Quade Veater earned the win on the mound and the Panguitch Bobcats bested Piute 9-3 Wednesday in 1A South baseball action. Yates Gleave and Kole Westwood each drove in a run in the loss for the Thunderbirds.

ORDERVILLE, Utah-The Valley Buffalos edged Green River 5-4 in 1A South baseball play Wednesday. Roland Anguiano drove in a pair of runs in the loss for the Pirates.

TROPIC, Utah-Ryker Peterson and Jake Peterson drove in three runs apiece and the Wayne Badgers pounded Bryce Valley 12-1 Wednesday in 1A South baseball play. Blake Peterson (2 RBI), Krey Bradbury, Ammon Peterson and Carson Lee (RBI apiece) also contributed to the Badgers’ win. Clay Gray had an RBI in defeat for the Mustangs.

Region 20

PANGUITCH, Utah-The Panguitch Bobcats swept Wayne 3-0 in Region 20 volleyball action Wednesday. The Bobcats prevailed 25-15, 25-11, 25-16 to earn the straight sets victory. Macey Jackson’s 5 kills led the Badgers in the loss.

TROPIC, Utah-The Piute Thunderbirds waxed Bryce Valley 3-1 Wednesday in Region 20 volleyball play. The Thunderbirds prevailed 21-25, 25-22, 25-16, 25-18 to earn the win over the Mustangs.
