Football

3A South

NEPHI, Utah-Reggie Hafen completed 15 of 28 passes for 222 yards, 2 touchdowns and an interception and ran for another score as the Richfield Wildcats bested Juab 24-14 Friday in 3A South action.

This win was the Wildcats’ first against the Wasps in the past 14 games with Richfield last winning in the series in 2002 prior to Friday’s game. Additionally, this Juab loss snapped their 21-game winning streak in region play.

Kai Thomas (5 rec, 97 yards, TD, interception) and Gage Yardley (4 rec, 43 yards, TD) also contributed to Richfield’s success on the evening.

Austin Park threw an 88-yard touchdown pass to Jaden Heap and Porter Jackson ran for a score in the loss for the Wasps.

PRICE, Utah-Maison Starkweather threw seven touchdown passes and the Manti Templars pounded Carbon 74-0 in 3A South football play Friday. Jackson Stevens added a touchdown run for Manti while Lane Cox returned an interception 37 yards for another score for the Templars. Austin Thomas added a 23-yard field goal in victory for Manti.

CEDAR CITY, Utah-Jaxon Jensen threw four touchdown passes and the Canyon View Falcons smacked North Sanpete 49-7 Friday in 3A South football play. Kash Cook ran 63 yards for a score in defeat for the Hawks.

2A South

DELTA, Utah-Hunt Robinson threw four touchdown passes and the Delta Rabbits routed South Sevier 48-6 Friday in 2A South football play. Kadance Lovell and Blade Brandow added touchdown runs in victory for the Rabbits. Cannon Barney threw a 54-yard touchdown pass to Boston Palmer in defeat for the Rams.

1A South

MILFORD, Utah-Kielen Tsosie tossed five touchdown passes and ran for another touchdown as the Milford Tigers hammered Parowan 45-7 in 1A South football play Friday. Hunter Bettridge ran for a 1-yard score in the loss for the Rams.

1A North

GUNNISON, Utah-Jake Smith threw three touchdown passes and ran for another score as the North Summit Braves clobbered Gunnison Valley 59-14 in 1A North football play Friday. Tyson Tucker threw an 80-yard touchdown pass to Andres Valenica and ran for another score in defeat for the Bulldogs.

DUCHESNE, Utah-Parker Crum threw four touchdown passes and ran for another score as the Duchesne Eagles decimated North Sevier 62-6 Friday in 1A North football play. Brody Bulloch threw a 17-yard touchdown pass to Rylan Frischknecht in defeat for the Wolves.

1A South

KANAB, Utah-Bodie Wheatley ran for two scores and added a touchdown pass as the Beaver Beavers smacked Kanab 42-7 in 1A South football play Friday. Tavyn Hollingshead ran for two more scores for the Beavers and Tate Gale added another rushing score in the rout. Maddex Bone threw a 14-yard touchdown pass to Trey Stubbs in the loss for the Cowboys.

Non-Region

ENTERPRISE, Utah-Ryker Phillips threw a 22-yard touchdown pass to Kyron Bracken and Jaden Drake added a 7-yard touchdown run as the Enterprise Wolves bested Millard 22-14 Friday in 1A South football play. Brayden Gardner added a touchdown run in victory for the Wolves. Lincoln Fullmer ran for a pair of scores in defeat for the Eagles.

Baseball

1A South

JUNCTION, Utah-Blake Dalton drove in a pair of runs and the Piute Thunderbirds surged past Valley 7-3 in 1A South baseball play Friday. Kole Westwood, Jaxon Westwood, Kel Blood and Kade Severe also drove in a run apiece for the Thunderbirds. Boede Cox had 2 RBI in the loss for the Buffalos.

PRICE, Utah-Ryker Grundy drove in four runs and the Wayne Badgers pounded Pinnacle 22-5 Friday in 1A South baseball play. Brody Howell had 2 RBI in the loss for the Panthers.

PANGUITCH, Utah-Rocco Perez drove in two runs and Clay Gray and Antonio Moreno added another RBI apiece as the Bryce Valley Mustangs downed Panguitch 5-3 in 1A South baseball play Friday.

Volleyball

Region 15

MOAB, Utah-The North Sevier Wolves blanked Grand 3-0 Friday in Region 15 volleyball play. The Wolves prevailed 25-8, 25-7, 25-14 for the straight sets victory.
