PRICE, Utah-The Carbon Dinos stonewalled Richfield 3-0 Tuesday in Region 12 volleyball play. The Dinos downed the Wildcats 25-17, 25-19, 25-16.
Region 14
DELTA, Utah-The North Sanpete Hawks edged Delta 3-2 in Region 14 volleyball action Tuesday at the Palladium. The Hawks got past the Rabbits 25-19, 25-23, 14-25, 21-25, 15-12. Tennille Gonder had 13 kills in the loss for the Rabbits.
NEPHI, Utah-The Union Cougars stymied Juab 3-0 Tuesday in Region 14 volleyball play. The Cougars downed the Wasps 25-19, 25-16, 25-19.
Region 16
DUCHESNE, Utah-The Millard Eagles outlasted Duchesne 3-2 Tuesday in Region 16 volleyball play. The Miillard Eagles bested the Duchesne Eagles 25-23, 29-27, 14-25, 15-25, 15-9.
SALINA, Utah-The North Summit Braves stymied North Sevier 3-0 in Region 16 volleyball play Tuesday. The Braves bested the Wolves 25-16, 25-17, 25-21.
Region 19
ENTERPRISE, Utah-The Kanab Lady Cowboys downed Enterprise 3-2 in Region 19 volleyball play Tuesday. The Lady Cowboys got past the Wolves 25-27, 28-26, 26-24, 14-25, 17-15. Noah Moyle’s 30 kills led the Wolves in the loss.
MONROE, Utah-The South Sevier Rams downed Parowan 3-0 Tuesday in Region 19 volleyball play. South Sevier tripped up Parowan 25-18, 25-21, 25-19 in the battle of the Rams.
Non-Region
GUNNISON, Utah-The Gunnison Valley Bulldogs waxed Grand 3-1 in non-region volleyball action Tuesday. The Bulldogs prevailed over the Red Devils 25-18, 21-25, 25-17, 25-9.
CEDAR CITY, Utah-The Canyon View Falcons downed Panguitch 3-2 Tuesday in non-region volleyball play. The Falcons prevailed 22-25, 25-22, 21-25, 26-24, 15-13 to outlast the Bobcats. Hailee Eyre’s 18 kills led the Bobcats in defeat.
Girls Soccer
Region 14
MT. PLEASANT, Utah-Kaylee Parry and Brooklyn Olson each scored as the Manti Templars blanked North Sanpete 2-0 in Region 14 girls soccer play Tuesday. Brynlee Wathen posted the shutout for Manti.
ROOSEVELT, Utah-Natalie Morrell and Melea Ludlow each scored and the Juab Wasps downed Union 2-0 Tuesday in Region 14 girls soccer action.
2-A South
MONROE, Utah-Kailee Brown scored twice with Sydnee Patterson, Claudia Barrajon and Emmalie Peterson alsco finding the net as the South Sevier Rams blanked Gunnison Valley 4-0 Tuesday in 2-A South girls soccer play.
FILLMORE, Utah-Karlee Wood, Madee Leydsman and Maycee Andersen each scored as the Parowan Rams downed Millard 3-1 in 2-A South girls soccer action Tuesday. Paige Cummings scored in defeat for the Eagles.
BLANDING, Utah-The Beaver Beavers shutout San Juan 5-0 Tuesday in 2A South Region girls soccer action.
