MANTI, Utah-The Manti Templars blanked Carbon 3-0 in Region 12 volleyball action Tuesday. The Templars prevailed 25-20, 25-20, 25-17 to achieve the straight sets victory over the Dinos.
RICHFIELD, Utah-The Richfield Wildcats stymied Delta 3-1 Tuesday in Region 12 volleyball play. The Wildcats downed the Rabbits 29-31, 25-19, 25-19, 26-24.
MT. PLEASANT, Utah-The North Sanpete Hawks downed Juab 3-0 in Region 12 volleyball play Tuesday.
Region 16
MT. PLEASANT, Utah-The Wasatch Academy Tigers bested Freedom Prep 3-1 Tuesday in Region 16 volleyball play. The Tigers downed the Eagles 22-25, 25-15, 25-18, 25-20. Zoie Stilwell’s 12 kills led Freedom Prep in the loss.
Region 18
BEAVER, Utah-The Millard Eagles surged past Beaver 3-0 Tuesday in Region 18 volleyball play. The Eagles bested the Beavers 25-12, 25-14, 25-15 for the straight sets victory.
Girls Soccer
Region 12
MT. PLEASANT, Utah-Amiah Timothy scored twice and the Carbon Dinos edged North Sanpete 3-2 in Region 12 girls soccer play Tuesday. Jessica Applegarth and Ashlyn Anderson scored in the loss for the Hawks.
NEPHI, Utah-Mylee Jensen scored the sole goal of the game and the Richfield Wildcats blanked Juab 1-0 Tuesday in Region 12 girls soccer play.
MANTI, Utah-The Manti Templars doubled up Delta 2-1 in Region 12 girls soccer play Tuesday. Margaret Nielson scored in the loss for the Rabbits.
2A South
FILLMORE, Utah-Kailey Thurman’s hat trick led the way and the Millard Eagles doubled up Beaver 8-4 Tuesday in 2A South girls soccer play. Maggie Stephens (2 goals), Emma Koyle, Sydney Braman and Carley Braman (goal apiece) also scored in the win for the Eagles. Elizabeth Robinson, Alina Lurth, Abbi Cox and Isabella Amezcua all scored in defeat for the Beavers.
PAROWAN, Utah-Deanna Gale recorded four goals and the Parowan Rams blanked South Sevier 9-0 in 2A South girls soccer play Tuesday. Shaylee Johnson recorded the shutout for Parowan in the battle of the Rams.
