ORDERVILLE, Utah-Warren Spencer, Ivan Spencer, Brett Heaton and Hunter Barrick each drove in a run and the Valley Buffaloes doubled up Diamond Ranch 4-2 in 1A South baseball action Tuesday.

TROPIC, Utah-Kole Westwood and Dax Merrill each posted two RBI and the Piute Thunderbirds humbled Bryce Valley 9-4 Tuesday in 1A South baseball play. Morrill earned the win on the mound for Piute.

GREEN RIVER, Utah-The Wayne Badgers pummeled Green River 13-3 Tuesday in 1A South baseball play.

PANGUITCH, Utah-The Panguitch Bobcats hammered Pinnacle 19-4 in 1A South baseball play Tuesday.

Girls Soccer

Non-Region

PAYSON, Utah-Cambrie Thompson, Rachel Tanner and Janessa Bridges each scored and the Manti Templars waxed Payson 3-1 Tuesday in non-region girls soccer play. Jazmin Castano scored in the loss for the Lions.

BEAVER, Utah-Abigail Evensen posted four goals and the Richfield Wildcats routed Beaver 7-0 in non-region girls soccer play Tuesday. Alyssa Rosquest earned the shutout for the Wildcats.

NEPHI, Utah-Ella Blackbourn scored two goals and the Hillcrest Huskies doubled up Juab 2-1 Tuesday in non-region girls soccer action.

Boys Golf

Region 19

WEST JORDAN, Utah-The Beaver Beavers won the Region 19 boys golf tournament at Mountain View golf course in West Jordan with a score of 300 as a team. South Sevier finished second at 316 with Kanab coming in third at 330. Enterprise placed fourth with a 381, Parowan fifth with a 387 and San Juan placed sixth with a 474.

Individually Beaver’s Hoyt Blomquist placed first with a 71. His teammate Sky Moon came in second with a 73, followed by Enterprise’s Jex Jones with a 74. Maddix Baird of Kanab took fourth with a 75 and South Sevier’s Cannon Thornock rounded out the top five with a 76.
