BICKNELL, Utah-Braige Millett homered and the Piute Thunderbirds routed Wayne 16-3 in 1A South baseball play Wednesday. Brodee Montague netted five strikeouts in two innings of work to earn the win on the mound for Piute. Ethan Beecher, EJ Pauu and Teagan Flanagan each drove in a run in the loss for the Badgers.

ORDERVILLE, Utah-Holden Harris, Conner Smith and Bronx Winter drove in two runs apiece and the Valley Buffalos blanked Bryce Valley 8-0 Wednesday in 1A South baseball play. Holden Harris recorded 11 strikeouts in seven innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Buffalos.

BEAVER, Utah-Ruby Lurth recorded five goals and the Beaver Beavers waxed South Summit 7-2 in non-region girls soccer play Wednesday. Elizabeth Robinson and KaDee Murdock also scored in the win for the Beavers.
