CEDAR CITY, Utah-The Canyon View Falcons waxed North Sanpete 3-1 in Region 12 volleyball action Tuesday.
PRICE, Utah-The Carbon Dinos bested Richfield 3-0 Tuesday in Region 12 volleyball play. The Dinos downed the Wildcats 25-15, 25-12, 25-15 to earn the straight sets victory.
MANTI, Utah-The Emery Spartans outlasted Manti 3-2 in Region 12 volleyball play Tuesday. The Spartans prevailed 25-23, 23-25, 18-25, 25-23, 15-13.
Region 18
MONROE, Utah-The South Sevier Rams overpowered Beaver 3-0 Tuesday in Region 18 volleyball play. The Rams downed the Beavers 27-25, 25-19, 25-18 for the straight sets win.
Region 20
TROPIC, Utah-The Escalante Moquis overpowered Bryce Valley 3-0 Tuesday in Region 20 volleyball play. The Moquis humbled the Mustangs 25-12, 25-13, 25-19 to get the straight sets victory.
Girls Soccer
Region 12
RICHFIELD, Utah-Amiah Timothy scored twice and the Carbon Dinos blanked Richfield 2-0 in Region 12 girls soccer action Tuesday. Fortune Ward posted the shutout for the Dinos.
CEDAR CITY, Utah-Bethanee Vargas, Trinity Marsh, Hadlee Farrow and Brooklyn Davie each scored and the Canyon View Falcons drilled Manti 4-0 Tuesday in Region 12 girls soccer play. Gracie Burt earned the shutout for the Falcons.
NEPHI, Utah-Karlie Sperry, Kaira Lowe, Addison Hyatt, Cambree Hall and RaeLee Bosh each scored as the Juab Wasps pounded Emery 5-1 in Region 12 girls soccer play Tuesday.
MT. PLEASANT, Utah-Caitlin Allred recorded a hat trick and the Delta Rabbits smacked North Sanpete 3-1 Tuesday in Region 12 girls soccer play. Caleigh Mickel scored in the loss for the Hawks.
2A South
BEAVER, Utah-Bella Robinson and Deanna Gale scored two goals apiece and the Parowan Rams dismantled Beaver 7-1 in 2A South girls soccer play Tuesday. Heidi Harris scored in defeat for the Beavers.
MONROE, Utah-Kailey Thurman and Kadi Dearden each scored a pair of goals and the Millard Eagles smacked South Sevier 4-0 Tuesday in 2A South girls soccer play. Savannah Wright earned the shutout for the Eagles in the win.
Boys Golf
Region 12
DELTA, Utah-The Richfield Wildcats prevailed in a close region 12 boys golf match at Sunset View Golf Course in Delta Tuesday. Richfield shot a 314 as a team, beating Juab’s 316 by two strokes. Carbon came in third, followed by Delta, Emery, Canyon View, Manti and North Sanpete.
Individually Carbon’s Dayton King won the tournament with a 74. Richfield’s Pace Mullen placed second with a 75, Taylor Hardin of Canyon View came in third with a 76, followed by Luke Wallace of Manti and Crue Cowan of Juab who tied for fourth with a 77.
