LOGAN, Utah-Grayson Friant ran for 159 yards and a touchdown as the South Sevier Rams bested Preston (Idaho) 31-21 Thursday in non-region football play at Maverik Stadium on the campus of Utah State University. Carter Abraham and Brigham Bradshaw each ran for a pair of touchdowns in the victory.

SPRINGVILLE, Utah-The Class 5A Springville Red Devils downed Richfield 3-1 Thursday in non-region volleyball play. The Red Devils downed the Wildcats 25-23, 25-19, 15-25, 25-17.
GREEN RIVER, Utah-The North Sevier Wolves bested Green River 3-0 in non-region volleyball play Thursday. The Wolves sank the Pirates 25-10, 25-15, 25-15 in the straight sets victory.
SARATOGA SPRINGS, Utah-The Westlake Thunder stormed past Manti 3-0 Thursday in non-region volleyball play. The Thunder downed the Templars 25-20, 25-17, 25-20 to net the straight sets victory.
GUNNISON, Utah-The South Sevier Rams waxed Gunnison Valley 3-0 in non-region volleyball play Thursday. The Rams prevailed 25-16, 25-12, 25-19 to down the Bulldogs in straight sets.
KAMAS, Utah-The South Summit Wildcats tripped up North Sanpete 3-1 Thursday in non-region volleyball play. The Wildcats downed the Hawks 25-17, 25-19, 23-25, 25-21.
BEAVER, Utah-The Panguitch Bobcats downed Beaver 3-0 in non-region volleyball play Thursday. The Bobcats waxed the Beavers 25-12, 25-23, 25-11 for the straight sets victory. Talia Alisa’s 5 kills led the Beavers in defeat.
PAROWAN, Utah-The Parowan Rams surged past Valley 3-0 Thursday in non-region volleyball play. The Rams prevailed 25-16, 25-12, 25-19 to down the Buffaloes in straight sets.
Girls Soccer

CEDAR CITY, Utah-The Canyon View Falcons outlasted Millard 5-4 in non-region girls soccer play Thursday.
DELTA, Utah-Kate Smith’s hat trick led the way and the Delta Rabbits blanked ALA 9-0 Thursday in non-region girls soccer play. Caitlin Allred (2 goals), Henci Stephenson, Meg Nielson, Sophie Bliss and Brittyn Beams also scored in victory for Delta. Allison Clark recorded the shutout in victory for the Rabbits.
RICHFIELD, Utah-Morgan Chidester scored twice and the Manti Templars doubled up Richfield 2-1 in non-region girls soccer play Thursday. Mylee Jensen scored in defeat for the Wildcats.
PAROWAN, Utah-Brynlee Andersen found the net twice and the Parowan Rams got past North Sanpete 2-1 Thursday in non-region girls soccer play. Abigail Huber scored in the loss for the Hawks.
