RICHFIELD, Utah-Gavin Brown completed 11 of 17 passes for 255 yards, four touchdowns and interception, running for another score, as the Richfield Wildcats dismantled North Sevier 34-21 Friday in non-region football action.
Brown used his athleticism extensively to stymie the Wolves, even throwing across his body for a score.

After North Sevier turned the ball over on downs inside the Richfield red zone, Brown went up top to Ethan Udy on an 85-yard scoring strike to give Richfield a 28-7 lead.
Later, Brown connected with Will Robinson (6 rec, 124 yards, TD) on a 17-yard scoring strike to put the game away as the Wildcats led 34-14 by virtue of this touchdown.
Landan Gale (20 touches, 155 scrimmage yards) was again stout for the Wolves, running for 107 yards and a score.
Deagan Brazell added a 34-yard scoring reception in defeat for the Wolves.
Richfield next visits Payson Friday August 28 and North Sevier hosts North Summit August 28.
DELTA, Utah-EJ Allred had scoring runs of 3, 6 and 13 yards as the Beaver Beavers clobbered Delta 41-9 Friday in non-region football action. Turner Williams added an 18-yard touchdown run and a 65-yard punt return for a score for the Beavers with Treyson Hunter throwing a 30-yard scoring toss to Statler Wright as well in the rout. Britton Smith had a 90-yard kickoff return for a score for the Rabbits and Smith added a 28-yard field goal for Delta.
ENTERPRISE, Utah-Bryant Jimenez and Braxton Messersmith each scored twice and the Enterprise Wolves pounded South Sevier 43-0 in non-region football action Friday.
CEDAR CITY, Utah-Bodee Blackett returned a kickoff 99 yards for a score and the Juab Wasps overpowered Cedar 30-19 Friday in non-region football action.
Dawson Olsen hauled in a 17-yard touchdown reception for the Wasps while Grant Orme and Trey Lund each added scoring runs for Juab.
Ryker Richards added a 32-yard field goal in the win for the Wasps.
KANAB, Utah-Bracken McQuivey had scoring runs of 9, 25 and 24 yards as the Kanab Cowboys routed Rich 42-6 Friday in non-region football action. Karson Blomquist (48 yards) and Michael Warino (10 yards) also had scoring runs for the Cowboys. Derek Houston added a 7-yard touchdown pass to Kason Janes in the rout for the Cowboys.
PAYSON, Utah-Tyson Brenchley ran for three scores, including jaunts of 30 and 2 yards as the Manti Templars clobbered Payson 51-21 in non-region football action Friday. Austin Cox added a 3-yard touchdown run and a 23-yard fumble recovery for a score for the Templars. Tyler Taukeiaho added a 35-yard touchdown run for Manti with Troy Madsen returning a fumble 17 yards for another Templars score. Seth Cornelsen stepped up as well for the Templars with a 22-yard field goal.
MILFORD, Utah-Bo Hardy threw a pair of touchdown passes to Treyton Rose of 37 and 7 yards and the Milford Tigers smacked Gunnison Valley 34-9 Friday in non-region football action. Bo Hardy added a 45-yard touchdown run and Casek Harby contributed a 9-yard scoring run for the Tigers. Zach Stewart returned a punt 36 yards for a score for the Bulldogs while Gunnison Valley also scored a safety in the loss.
SALT LAKE CITY-Braxton Bond threw a pair of scoring tosses to Taylor Davies and KC Whitaker, respectively, and the Millard Eagles decimated Judge Memorial 58-7 in non-region football action Friday. Jed DeGraffenried had scoring runs of 6 and 2 yards and hauled in a 42-yard scoring reception from James Stephenson as well for the Eagles. Morgan Wade also caught a 44-yard touchdown pass from Hunter Rhodes for Millard with Luke DeGraffenried adding a 2-yard touchdown run for the Eagles. Chaz Ashton also contributed for Millard by returning a punt 51 yards for a touchdown.
MT. PLEASANT, Utah-Landon Bowles threw three touchdown passes, to Brady Jacobson (55 yards) and Cole Mickel (9 yards and 8 yards) as the North Sanpete Hawks gashed Emery 38-6 Friday in non-region football action. Trevin Morley (2 yards) and Laramie Roberts (7 yards) added touchdown runs for North Sanpete and Rance Christensen added a 27-yard field goal for the Hawks.

PRICE, Utah-The Piute Thunderbirds earned a run-rule victory over Pinnacle, 11-0 Friday in 1A South Region baseball action.
PANGUITCH, Utah-The Valley Buffaloes snuck out a 7-6 win over the Panguitch Bobcats Friday in 1A South Region baseball action.
GREEN RIVER, Utah-Green River recorded just one hit as the Bryce Valley pitching staff threw a shutout in an 11-0 win for the Mustangs Friday in 1A South Region baseball action.
BICKNELL, Utah-Reed Edwards doubled and drove in three runs as the Wayne Badgers earned a run-rule victory of Diamond Ranch 14-4 Friday in 1A South Region baseball action. Dallas Peterson also doubled for the Badgers, while Jesse Webb earned the win on the mound.
