TROPIC, Utah-Gerardo Lopez and Rodolfo Perez homered and the Bryce Valley Mustangs smoked Pinnacle 8-3 in 1A South baseball play Wednesday. Brody Howell drove in two runs in the loss for the Panthers.

BICKNELL, Utah-Quade Veater and Hudson Burningham homered and the Panguitch Bobcats clobbered Wayne 16-5 Wednesday in 1A South baseball play. Casey Walter recorded five strikeouts in 2.1 innings of work to earn the win on the mound for Panguitch. Miles Hinkle drove in two runs in the loss for the Badgers.

JUNCTION, Utah-Hogan Harris drove in the sole run of the game and the Valley Buffalos blanked Piute 1-0 in 1A South baseball play Wednesday. Harris posted four strikeouts in seven innings of work to earn the win on the mound for Valley.
