ESCALANTE, Utah-The Escalante Moquis got past Wayne 3-0 Tuesday in Region 20 volleyball action. The Moquis bested the Badgers 25-21, 25-12, 25-22.
Non-Region
ST. GEORGE, Utah-The Snow Canyon Warriors outlasted North Sanpete 3-2 in non-region volleyball play Tuesday. The Warriors prevailed 22-25, 25-23, 26-24, 22-25 and 15-9. Avery Thorkelson’s 15 kills led the Warriors in victory.
PRICE, Utah-The Carbon Dinos waxed Juab 3-1 Tuesday in non-region volleyball play. The Dinos prevailed 25-11, 25-19, 22-25, 25-8.
MONROE, Utah-The Emery Spartans tripped up South Sevier 3-1 in non-region volleyball play Tuesday. The Spartans downed the Rams 28-26, 26-16, 16-25, 26-24.
GUNNISON, Utah-The Gunnison Valley Bulldogs surged past Beaver 3-1 Tuesday in non-region volleyball play. The Bulldogs waxed the Beavers 25-19, 22-25, 25-23, 25-20. Talia Alisa had 5 kills in the loss for the Beavers.
ST. GEORGE, Utah-The Crimson Cliffs Mustangs stymied Millard 3-0 in non-region volleyball play Tuesday. The Mustangs prevailed over the Eagles 25-20, 25-14, 25-16 in the straight sets victory.
RICHFIELD, Utah-The Richfield Wildcats overpowered Class 4-A Cedar City 3-0 Tuesday in non-region volleyball play. The Wildcats downed the Lady Reds 25-21, 27-25, 25-22.
KANAB, Utah-The Kanab Lady Cowboys got past North Sevier 3-0 Tuesday in non-region volleyball play. Kanab downed the Wolves 25-16, 25-8, 25-19 for the straight sets victory.
Girls Soccer
Non-Region
SPANISH FORK, Utah-Brooklyn Smith, Kinley Hicks and Leah Harwood each scored and the Spanish Fork Dons routed Manti 9-1 in non-region girls soccer action Tuesday. Kaylee Parry scored in the loss for the Templars.
MONROE, Utah-Emery Miles posted a pair of goals and the Canyon View Falcons drilled South Sevier 5-0 Tuesday in non-region girls soccer play. Gracie Burt recorded the shutout for the Falcons.
LINDON, Utah-Cat Miller scored twice and the Maeser Prep Lions humbled Juab 5-0 in non-region girls soccer play Tuesday. Alice Watson posted the shutout for the Lions.
PAROWAN, Utah-Abigail Evensen netted a pair of goals and the Richfield Wildcats outlasted Parowan 4-3 Tuesday in non-region girls soccer play. Araya Patey and Rylee Ames also scored in victory for Richfield. Madee Leydsman, Abby Jacobson and Brynlee Andersen each scored in the loss for the Rams.
DELTA, Utah-Kate Smith amassed a hat trick and the Delta Rabbits pounded Beaver 8-0 in non-region girls soccer play Tuesday. Brinley Styler and Caitlin Allred added a pair of goals apiece in victory for the Rabbits. Paisley Hunt added another goal for Delta and Allison Clark recorded the shutout for the Rabbits.
FILLMORE, Utah-Kara Camp posted four goals and the Millard Eagles pummeled Emery 6-0 Tuesday in non-region girls soccer play. Devin Roper and Emma Koyle also scored in victory for Millard. Camdyn Gamble recorded the shutout for the Eagles.
