ROOSEVELT, Utah-Gavin Roberts and Jaxon Christensen drove in two runs apiece and the No. 3 Union Cougars blanked No. 14 Judge 10-0 in the first game of this 3A regionals series Thursday. Ryan Oakey posted seven strikeouts in 4.1 innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Cougars.

PRICE, Utah-Aaron Costello and Wyatt Williams drove in a run apiece and the No. 9 North Sanpete Hawks upset No. 8 Carbon 2-1 Thursday in the first game of this 3A regionals series. Hudson Smith posted 12 strikeouts in six innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Hawks. Paxton Falk homered in the loss for the Dinos.

NEPHI, Utah-Austin Park and Hayden Adams drove in three runs apiece and the No. 2 Juab Wasps stonewalled No. 15 American Leadership 12-0 in the first game of this 3A regionals series Thursday.

GRANTSVILLE, Utah-Payton Cummings homered twice and Krue Warren also went yard as the No. 7 Grantsville Cowboys pounded No. 10 Delta 14-1 Thursday in the first game of this 3A regionals series. Jordan Fawson posted five strikeouts in five innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Cowboys. Hunt Robinson drove in a run in defeat for the Rabbits.

CEDAR CITY, Utah-Trenton “Bubba” Ludlow homered and the No. 1 Canyon View Falcons surged past No. 16 Ogden 19-9 in the first game of this 3A regionals series Thursday. Brady Anderson posted three strikeouts in two innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Falcons. Lucas Bushell and Rodrigo Torres drove in three runs apiece in defeat for the Tigers.

HERRIMAN, Utah-Jordan Black drove in a run and the No. 6 Providence Hall Patriots edged No. 11 Richfield 4-3 Thursday in the first game of this 3A regionals series. Andrew Taylor posted three strikeouts in seven innings of work to earn the win on the mound for Providence Hall. Griffin Wayman, Hayden Reed and Kelly Rickenbach drove in a run apiece in the loss for the Wildcats.

MORGAN, Utah-Easton Venz drove in three runs and the No. 4 Morgan Trojans bested No.13 South Summit 9-3 in the first game of this 3A regionals series Thursday. Cooper Stuart posted six strikeouts in 5.2 innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Trojans. Ian Mair and Hunter Bednerik drove in a run apiece in the loss for the Wildcats.

PROVO, Utah-Kale Glover drove in three rusn and the No. 4 Kanab Cowboys pummeled No. 9 Grand 10-4 Thursday in the 2A state quarterfinals at Miller Park. Walker Baird netted seven strikeouts in 6.1 innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Cowboys. Ean Ellis, JT Dowd and Brady Dawson drove in a run apiece in defeat for the Red Devils. Kanab next plays in the state semfinals Friday at 4:30 pm at Miller Park against No. 2 Beaver. Grand drops down to the one-loss bracket to play No.7 Milford Friday at 11:00 am in the one-loss bracket at Miller Park.

PROVO, Utah-Raider Blomquist, Ki Anzalone and Andrew Hollingshead each drove in a run and the No. 2 Beaver Beavers blanked No. 3 Enterprise 3-0 in the 2A state quarterfinals Thursday at Miller Park. Davin Orton posted 11 strikeouts in 6.2 innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Beavers. Enterprise drops down to the one-loss bracket to face No. 5 South Sevier Friday at 1:30 pm at Miller Park.

PROVO, Utah-Peyton Ingram belted an inside-the-park grand slam and the No. 5 South Sevier Rams upset No. 1 San Juan 9-5 Thursday in the one-loss bracket at Miller Park. Jax Christiansen posted three strikeouts in 1.1 innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Rams.
