2A State Tournament One-Loss Bracket

MONROE, Utah-Bigs Northrup drove in five runs and the No. 5 South Sevier Rams pounded No. 11 Parowan 15-0 Tuesday in the 2A state tournament one-loss bracket at South Sevier High School. Northrup posted six strikeouts in four innings of work to earn the win on the mound for South Sevier in the battle of the Rams. South Sevier next plays Thursday at 11:00 am in the one-loss bracket at Miller Park on the campus of Brigham Young University against No. 1 San Juan.

BLANDING, Utah-Corbin Middleton homered and the No. 1 San Juan Broncos smoked No. 10 Duchesne 12-5 in the 2A state tournament one-loss bracket Tuesday at San Juan High School. Middleton netted five strikeouts in five innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Broncos. Kyson Giles drove in two runs in the loss for the Eagles.

MILFORD, Utah-Kilo Tsosie drove in two runs and the No. 7 Milford Tigers blanked No. 8 Monticello 5-0 in the 2A state tournament one-loss bracket Tuesday at Milford High School. Judd Netto recorded six strikeouts in six innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Tigers. Milford next plays Thursday at 1:30 pm in the one-loss bracket at Miller Park against No. 6 Gunnison Valley.

GUNNISON, Utah-Peyton Sanders drove in a pair of runs and the No. 6 Gunnison Valley Bulldogs doubled up No. 13 Millard 6-3 Tuesday at Gunnison Valley High School in the 2A state tournament one-loss bracket. Waylon Sorenson posted 12 strikeouts in 6.1 innings of work to earn the win on the mound for Gunnison Valley. Branson Adams drove in two runs in defeat for the Eagles.
