2A State Finals @ BYU
PROVO, Utah-Bigs Northrup homered and the No. 5 South Sevier Rams routed No. 4 Kanab 10-1 to win the 2A state baseball championship Saturday at Miller Park. Peyton Ingram recorded six strikeouts in seven innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Rams. Kale Glover drove in a run in defeat for the Cowboys. This was South Sevier’s 9th all-time state title in baseball and second in the past five seasons. South Sevier has won baseball state championships in 1949, 1953, 1977, 1980, 1983, 1986, 2002, 2022 and 2025.
PROVO, Utah-Peyton Ingram drove in four runs and the No. 5 South Sevier Rams overpowered No. 4 Kanab 17-8 Saturday in the 2A state finals at Miller Park. Stockton Roberts netted two strikeouts in 6.2 innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Rams. Latimer Glover, Cooper Anderson and Hayden Gubler drove in two runs apiece in the loss for the Cowboys. Kanab and South Sevier will next play for the winner-takes-all 2A state baseball title in the next game at Miller Park.
2A One-Loss Bracket @ BYU

Ryker Freeman posted two strikeouts in 5.2 innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Rams. Ki Anzalone drove in a run in defeat for the Beavers. South Sevier next plays No. 4 Kanab in the 2A state finals at 1:10 pm Saturday at Miller Park.

3A State Championship Game @ Spanish Fork Softball Complex
SPANISH FORK, Utah-Hayden Bytheway homered and the No. 1 Grantsville Lady Cowboys routed No. 4 Emery 11-1 to win the 3A state softball championship at the Spanish Fork Softball Complex Saturday. Bytheway posted eight strikeouts in six innings of work to earn the win in the circle for the Lady Cowboys. Kali Jensen drove in a run in defeat for the Spartans. This was Grantsville’s 8th all-time state title in softball and third in a row. Grantsville has won state softball titles in 1998, 2017-2019, 2021, 2023-2025.
3A One-Loss Bracket @ Spanish Fork Softball Complex
SPANISH FORK, Utah-Hadley Grimm drove in a run and the No. 4 Emery Spartans upset No. 2 Morgan 4-3 Saturday in the 3A one-loss bracket at the Spanish Fork Softball Complex. Kallee Lake posted seven strikeouts in seven innings of work to earn the win in the circle for the Spartans. Emery next plays No. 1 Grantsville Saturday at 12:30 pm in the 3A state finals at the Spanish Fork Softball Complex.
2A State Championship Game @ Spanish Fork Softball Complex
SPANISH FORK, Utah-Caitlin Nielson and Kinley Phelps homered and the No. 1 South Sevier Rams doubled up No. 3 Beaver 6-3 Saturday to win the 2A state softball championship at the Spanish Fork Softball Complex. Kloe Donohue netted nine strikeouts in five innings of work to earn the win in the circle for the Rams. Ainsley Brown and Jerzee Beaumont drove in a run apiece in the loss for the Beavers. This was South Sevier’s second-all-time state title in softball and first since 2004.
2A One-Loss Bracket @ Spanish Fork Softball Complex
SPANISH FORK, Utah-Danzee Bradshaw drove in three runs and the No. 3 Beaver Beavers outgunned No. 2 Duchesne 17-15 in the 2A one-loss bracket Saturday at the Spanish Fork Softball Complex. Braylee Carter pitched 2.1 innings and earned the win in the circle for the Beavers. Chezney Farnsworth belted a grand slam in defeat for the Eagles. Beaver next faces No. 1 South Sevier momentarily in the 2A state finals at the Spanish Fork Softball Complex.
Boys Soccer
3A State Championship @ America First Field
SANDY, Utah-Jace Rodriguez and Gerardo Esquivel each found the net and the No. 1 Ogden Tigers vanquished No. 6 Morgan 2-1 Saturday in the 3A state soccer championship at America First Field. Luke Francis scored in the loss for the Trojans. Ogden has now won five state championships in boys soccer, including their second in a row. The Tigers have state championships in soccer in 2000, 2002, 2005, 2024 and 2025.
2A State Championship @ America First Field
SANDY, Utah-Noah Johnson, Jaden Gardner and Denzel Sono-Koree each scored and the No. 1 Maeser Prep Lions waxed No. 2 American Heritage 3-1 in the 2A state soccer championship Saturday at America First Field. Cael Tillman scored in the loss for the Patriots. This appears to be Maeser’s first state championship in school history in any sport.
