Softball

2A South

KANAB, Utah-Layni Williams homered for the second time in as many days as the Parowan Rams clobbered Kanab 24-3 in 2A South softball play Thursday.

Madison Adams earned the win in the circle for Parowan, netting eight strikeouts in four innings of work.

The Rams have outscored their opponents the past two days, Panguitch and Kanab, 41-3.

2A Central

JUNCTION, Utah-The North Sevier Wolves waxed Piute 21-11 in 2A Central softball play Thursday. Ainsley Talbot drove in four runs in the loss for the Thunderbirds.

Non-Region

MT. PLEASANT, Utah-Dally Bailey drove in three runs and the North Sanpete Hawks drilled Richfield 9-2 Thursday in non-region softball play. Heather Howarth earned the win in the circle as she went the distance by posting 13 strikeouts in seven innings of work. Abbre Albrecht had an RBI in defeat for the Wildcats.

Boys Soccer

2A South

BEAVER, Utah-Tyson Tucker, Caleb Matthews, Max Malanda and Pearson Judy each scored and the Gunnison Valley Bulldogs edged Beaver 4-3 in 2A South boys soccer play Thursday. Mace Robinson, Alex Montoya and Alex Gutierrez each found the net in defeat for the Beavers.

BLANDING, Utah-The North Sevier Wolves blanked San Juan 7-0 Thursday in 2A South boys soccer play.

PAROWAN, Utah-The Parowan Rams drilled South Sevier 4-0 in 2A South boys soccer play Thursday to win the battle of the Rams.
