ROOSEVELT, Utah-Chaetton Osborne and Wyatt Williams drove in two runs apiece and the North Sanpete Hawks bested Union 9-6 in Region 13 baseball play Wednesday. Bryce Swapp netted five strikeouts in four innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Hawks. Cade Frandsen drove in four runs in the loss for the Cougars.

BICKNELL, Utah-Lyndee Jones drove in four runs and the Wayne Badgers hammered Pinnacle 23-0 in the first game of a 1A softball doubleheader Wednesday. Rylan Taylor netted six strikeouts in three innings of work to earn the win in the circle for the Badgers.

BICKNELL, Utah-Oaklee Brian and Sophee Torgerson homered and the Wayne Badgers completed a 1A softball doubleheader sweep of Pinnacle with a 22-0 rout of the Panthers Wednesday. Alania Grundy posted four strikeouts in three innings of work to earn the win in the circle for the Badgers.
