CEDAR CITY, Utah-Austin Park homered and the Juab Wasps pummeled Canyon View 13-4 Friday in Region 12 baseball play. Kai Hansen drove in three runs for the Wasps and Garrett Hofer added 2 more RBI in victory for Juab. Connor Cowan, Kanyon Mattinson, Jimmy Larson and Luke Marostica each drove in an additional run for the Wasps in the win. Mattinson netted three strikeouts in 3.1 innings of work to earn the win on the mound for Juab. Chandler McClellan drove in two runs in the loss for the Falcons.
RICHFIELD, Utah-Bo Stevens homered and the Manti Templars pounded Richfield 13-2 in Region 12 baseball play Friday. Lane Cox drove in three runs for Manti and Kayson Bailey, Britton Keisel and Tazj Hill added an additional RBI apiece in victory for the Templars. Bailey netted eight strikeouts in five innings of work to earn the win on the mound for Manti. Gavin Kirschner drove in a run in defeat for the Wildcats.
DELTA, Utah-Cooper Neilson, Kyler Davies and Dylan Larsen drove in two runs apiece and the Delta Rabbits bested North Sanpete 11-7 Friday in Region 12 baseball play. Dax Bliss and Roper Crane added an additional RBI each for the Rabbits in victory. Bryce Swapp drove in two runs in the loss for the Hawks. Bryson Perry, Aaron Costello and Wyatt Williams drove in an additional run apiece for North Sanpete in defeat.
2A West
KANAB, Utah-Kash Kabonic drove in three runs and the Kanab Cowboys blanked Millard 10-0 in 2A West baseball play Friday. Griffen Bone drove in two more runs in victory for the Cowboys while Maddix Baird and Kanon Virostko added an additional RBI apiece for Kanab. Bone earned the win on the mound for the Cowboys, recording 12 strikeouts in five innings of work.

Region 12
PRICE, Utah-Adri Abeya homered and the Carbon Dinos drilled Juab 14-4 Friday in Region 12 softball play. Danica Adams netted eight strikeouts in five innings of work to earn the win in the circle for the Dinos. Tylie Greenhalgh homered in defeat for the Wasps. Dusti Draper and Bailee Benson added an additional RBI apiece in the win for Juab.
2A South
KANAB, Utah-Halle Warner drove in three runs and the Millard Eagles pounded Kanab 12-3 in 2A South softball play Friday. Brooklin Reid and Macie Wade drove in two runs apiece for the Eagles in victory. Jansie Chlarson, Kadi Dearden, Maggie Stephens and Kailey Thurman drove in an additional run apiece in the win for Millard. Gracie Stephenson posted six strikeouts in seven innings of work to earn the win in the circle for the Eagles. Taylor Janes and Beka Rogers each had an RBI in the loss for the Lady Cowboys.
2A Central
MONTICELLO, Utah-Saige Jensen and Addie Quarnberg homered and the North Sevier Wolves routed Monticello 22-1 in the first game of a 2A Central softball doubleheader Friday. Sydney Bosh and Cheyenne Johnson drove in three runs apiece in victory for North Sevier. Zoey Rhees drove in two runs in the win for the Wolves and Lilly Ha’o, Kadee Bosshardt, Kaylee Hansen, Chloe Malmgren, Kaitlyn Brown and Reagan Hone each drove in an additional run in the win for North Sevier. Malmgren posted five strikeouts in 3.1 innings of work to earn the win in the circle for the Wolves. Gracey Bylilly drove in a run in the loss for the Buckaroos.
MONTICELLO, Utah-Brinzie Ekker and Kaylee Hansen each homered and the North Sevier Wolves completed a 2A Central softball sweep of Monticello with a 19-4 win over the Buckaroos Friday. Chloe Malmgren drove in three runs in victory for the Wolves. Zoey Rhees and Dalli Wasden drove in two more runs apiece for North Sevier in victory. Paisley Roberts, Cheyenne Johnson and Kaitlyn Brown each drove in an additional run for the Wolves in the win. Hansen recorded two strikeouts in two innings of work to secure the win in the circle for North Sevier.
GUNNISON, Utah-Atley Coates homered and the Gunnison Valley Bulldogs edged Grand 6-5 Friday in the first game of a 2A Central softball doubleheader. Maggie Bartholomew, Khora Marker and Maddie Pratt added an additional RBI apiece in victory for the Bulldogs. Maile Ha’o recorded 10 strikeouts in eight innings of work to earn the win in the circle for Gunnison Valley.

MT. PLEASANT, Utah-The No. 16 North Sanpete Hawks edged No. 17 Providence Hall 1-0 Friday in the first round of the 3A boys soccer state playoffs. The Hawks next visit No. 1 Manti Wednesday at 4:00 pm in the second round of the state playoffs.
RICHFIELD, Utah-Parker Graham scored four goals and the No. 15 Richfield Wildcats clobbered No. 18 Summit Academy 8-2 in the first round of the 3A boys state soccer playoffs Friday. Daxton Tait added a hat trick for the Wildcats and Adam Graham also scored in victory for Richfield. The Wildcats next visit No. 2 Morgan in the second round of the state playoffs Wednesday at 4:00 pm.
2A 1st Round
SANDY, Utah-The No. 13 Waterford Ravens blitzed No. 20 San Juan 4-1 in the first round of the 2A boys soccer state playoffs Friday. The Ravens next visit No. 4 Intermountain Christian Friday Wednesday at 4:00 pm in the second round of the state playoffs.
SPRINGVILLE, Utah-The No. 12 Merit Knights pounded No. 21 Telos 11-2 Friday in the first round of the 2A boys soccer state playoffs. Merit next visit No. 5 Rowland Hall in the second round of the state playoffs Wednesday at 4:00 pm.
SPANISH FORK, Utah-The No. 14 ALA Eagles routed No. 19 Utah Military Hill Field 10-0 in the first round of the 2A boys soccer state playoffs Friday. The Eagles next visit No. 3 Grand Wednesday at 4:00 pm in the second round of the state playoffs.
