CEDAR CITY, Utah-Tyten Fails drove in four runs and the Beaver Beavers downed Class 4A Cedar City 10-6 Saturday in non-region baseball play. Deegan Bailey posted five strikeouts in six innings of work to record the win on the mound for the Beavers.

Ice Breaker Tournament @ Payson HS

PAYSON, Utah-Jamisyn Heaton and Preslee Nielsen each had a pair of RBI as the Class 5A Lehi Pioneers blanked North Sanpete 5-0 Saturday at the Ice Breaker Tournament at Payson High School.

Emerson Fuller earned the win in the circle for the Pioneers, posting four strikeouts in three innings of work.

PAYSON, Utah-Hallie Nielsen and Lexie Morlan each had three RBI and the Duchesne Eagles blanked North Sanpete 10-0 at the Ice Breaker Tournament at Payson High School Saturday. Kelsey Grant posted 11 strikeouts in six innings of work for the Eagles to earn the win in the circle.

PAYSON, Utah-The Salem Hills Skyhawks scored the last nine runs of the game, surging past North Sanpete 10-4 Saturday at the Ice Breaker Tournament at Payson High School. Lucy Oldroyd drove in three runs in the loss for the Hawks.

PAYSON, Utah-Heather Howarth hit a walkoff home run and the North Sanpete Hawks outlasted Gunnison Valley 7-6 to conclude the Ice Breaker Tournament at Payson High School Saturday. Howarth also earned the win in the circle for the Hawks, posting four strikeouts in six innings of work. Raven Pickett drove in a pair of runs in defeat for the Bulldogs.
