MANTI, Utah-Easton Stoker and Treven Gilbert drove in two runs apiece and the Emery Spartans clipped Manti 11-5 in Region 12 baseball play Friday. Gilbert posted a strikeout in four innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Spartans. Durke Larsen, Boston Hatch and Chase Keisel drove in a run apiece in the loss for the Templars.
DELTA, Utah-Kai Hansen drove in a pair of runs and the Juab Wasps edged Delta 9-8 Friday in Region 12 baseball play. Porter Howard posted five strikeouts in 1.2 innings of work to earn the win on the mound for Juab. Roper Crane and Hunt Robinson drove in two runs apiece in defeat for the Rabbits.

MONTICELLO, Utah-Cache Young homered and the Monticello Buckaroos routed North Sevier 18-3 Friday in the first game of a 2A East baseball doubleheader. Triston Felix posted seven strikeouts in four innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Buckaroos. Hunter Lund drove in two runs in the loss for the Wolves.
MONTICELLO, Utah-Arturo Gutierrez drove in three runs and the Monticello Buckaroos edged North Sevier 12-10 to complete a 2A East baseball doubleheader sweep of the Wolves Friday. Jackson Keyes posted five strikeouts in four innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Buckaroos. Mason Pierce homered in defeat for the Wolves.
BLANDING, Utah-Landry Edwards homered and the Gunnison Valley Bulldogs doubled up San Juan 2-1 in the first game of a 2A East baseball doubleheader Friday. Braxton Pickett posted 14 strikeouts in seven innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Bulldogs. Nache Young drove in a run in defeat for the Broncos.

MANTI, Utah-James Dettinger and Vinny Cruz each scored and the Manti Templars blanked Richfield 2-0 in Region 12 boys soccer play Friday. Branson Cherry recorded the shutout in the net for Manti.
NEPHI, Utah-Kaele Christensen scored the sole goal of the game and the Juab Wasps blanked North Sanpete 1-0 Friday in Region 12 boys soccer play. Dylan Gilbert posted three saves in recording the shutout in the net for the Wasps.
