MANTI, Utah-Kayson Marx posted 2 RBI and three hits as the Union Cougars completed a Region 14 baseball doubleheader sweep of Manti with an 11-1 win Thursday. Braxton Henningson had an RBI in defeat for the Templars, with Jaden Barton adding a triple.
2A South
FILLMORE, Utah-The Milford Tigers bested Millard 8-3 Thursday in 2A South baseball play. Hunter Rhodes and Taylor Davies each drove in a run in defeat for the Eagles.
Red, White and Blue Invitational @ Crimson Cliffs High School
ST. GEORGE, Utah-Heston Jenson went 4-4 with two home runs, a double and posting 5 RBI overall and the Richfield Wildcats doubled up Canyon View 10-5 to commence the Red, White and Blue Invitational Thursday evening at Crimson Cliffs High School. Jacob Thalman earned the win on the mound for the Wildcats. Chase Cavlez drove in a pair of runs in defeat for the Falcons.
Non-Region
NEPHI, Utah-Tryker Greenhalgh, Jayden Topham, Cooper Ford, Jaxton Adams and Porter Bowles each drove in a run and the Juab Wasps waxed South Sevier 6-4 in non-region baseball play Thursday. Austin Park earned the win on the mound pitching five innings of shutout ball in relief with seven strikeouts. Tait Brown drove in three runs on two hits in defeat for the Rams.

FILLMORE, Utah-Hailey Flynn drove in five runs and the Millard Eagles clobbered Milford 15-0 in 2A South softball action Thursday. Shaylee Burraston amassed 10 strikeouts in five innings of work to earn the win in the circle for the Eagles.
HILDALE, Utah-The Panguitch Bobcats hammered Water Canyon 20-1 Thursday in 2A South softball play.

SALINA, Utah-Taylen Yardley homered and the Parowan Rams pounded North Sevier 17-1 Thursday in non-region softball play. Maycee Andersen drove in a team-best four runs for the Rams in victory. Madison Adams posted eight strikeouts in four innings of work to earn the win in the circle for Parowan.
NEPHI, Utah-Hayden Erickson drove in a pair of runs and the Class 6A Lone Peak Knights routed Juab 11-1 in non-region softball play Thursday. Megan Kriechbaum netted four strikeouts in five innings of work in the circle to earn the win for the Knights.

HURRICANE, Utah-Alex Montoya scored and the Beaver Beavers blanked the Diamond Ranch Diamondbacks 1-0 in 2A South boys soccer play Thursday. Elliot LeBaron posted the shutout for the Beavers.
GUNNISON, Utah-Tyson Tucker, Bryson Sorensen and Pearson Judy each scored and the Gunnison Valley Bulldogs waxed Millard 3-1 Thursday in 2A South boys soccer play.
