Region 12

PRICE, Utah-Hudson Smith homered and the North Sanpete Hawks routed Carbon 8-0 Wednesday in Region 12 baseball play. Chaetton Osborn drove in three more wins in the win for the Hawks. Wyatt Williams added two more RBI in victory for North Sanpete and Jaydyn Robinson drove in another run in victory for the Hawks. Smith posted 11 strikeouts in seven innings of work to earn the win on the mound for North Sanpete.

2A East

DUCHESNE, Utah-Caleb Thompson drove in five runs and the Duchesne Eagles blanked North Sevier 12-0 in 2A East baseball play Wednesday. Thompson posted six strikeouts in five innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Eagles.

MOAB, Utah-Dillon Dyreng drove in a pair of runs and the Gunnison Valley Bulldogs edged Grand 6-5 Wednesday in 2A East baseball play. Braxton Pickett drove in another run in victory for Gunnison Valley. Waylon Sorenson posted six strikeouts in six innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Bulldogs. Breckin Shepherd and Trace York drove in a run apiece in the loss for the Red Devils.

Non-Region

KAMAS, Utah-Kash Nelson drove in five runs and the Delta Rabbits decimated South Summit 23-4 in non-region baseball play Wednesday. Ashton Stefanoff, Kyler Davies, Cy Droubay, Roper Crane and Caden Meinhardt drove in two runs apiece in victory for the Rabbits. Ty Stefanoff, Dax Bliss, Drake Quackenbush and Dreyden Wood each drove in an additional run in victory for Delta. Droubay recorded three strikeouts in one inning of work to earn the win on the mound for the Rabbits. Will Broadhead, Ian Mair and Hayden Simmons drove in a run apiece in defeat for the Wildcats.

HURRICANE, Utah-Parker Selby drove in a pair of runs and the Hurricane Tigers waxed Richfield 6-2 Wednesday in non-region baseball play. Lani Matsuoka and Brendon Hoffman drove in an additional run apiece in victory for Hurricane. Jess Curtis drove in two runs in the loss for the Wildcats.

Softball

Region 12

PRICE, Utah-Rylee Stewart homered and the North Sanpete Hawks blanked Carbon 7-0 Wednesday in Region 12 softball play. Shea Rawlinson and Alivia Madsen drove in two more additional runs apiece in the win for the Hawks. Kaecee Johnson posted eight strikeouts in seven innings of work to earn the win in the circle for the Hawks.

2A South

PAROWAN, Utah-Brooklin Reid and Savanah Turner drove in three runs apiece and the Millard Eagles downed Parowan 20-11 in 2A South softball play Wednesday. Brynlee Deem drove in two more runs in victory for Millard and Jansie Chlarson, Macie Wade and Maren Davies each added another RBI apiece in the win for the Eagles. Wade netted a strikeout in one inning of work to earn the win in the circle for Millard. Erika Kelly homered in defeat for the Rams.
