OREM, Utah-Bracken Saunders recorded 30 points and 6 rebounds on 14-20 from the field and the No. 1 Morgan Trojans overpowered No. 5 Juab 71-59 in the 3A state semifinals at the UCCU Center Tuesday. Austin Park’s 14 points on 4-7 from the field led the Wasps in the loss. Morgan next faces No. 3 Richfield Wednesday at 7:00 pm for the 3A state championship.
OREM, Utah-Griffin Wayman’s career-high 24 points on 9-14 and 6-9 from range led the No. 3 Richfield Wildcats to a 56-43 win over No. 7 Judge Tuesday in the 3A state semifinals at the UCCU Center. JJ Apathjang’s 15 points led the Bulldogs in the loss.
3A Consolation Bracket @ UCCU Center
OREM, Utah-Logan Woolstenhulme posted 26 points and 14 rebounds and the No. 4 South Summit Wildcats downed No. 9 Emery 50-37 Tuesday in the 3A boys consolation bracket at the UCCU Center. Scott Johansen’s 16 points led the Spartans in the loss. South Summit next faces No. 2 Canyon View Wednesday at 11:40 am for 5th place at the UCCU Center.
OREM, Utah-Felps Sanders amassed 32 points and 8 rebounds on 14-19 from the field and the No. 2 Canyon View Falcons bested No. 6 Union 79-69 at the UCCU Center Tuesday in the 3A boys consolation bracket. Wayke Olsen posted 27 points and 7 rebounds on 5-7 behind the arc in defeat for the Cougars.

OREM, Utah-Katelyn Nielson netted 14 points and 9 rebounds on 5-7 from the field and the No. 5 Emery Spartans upset No. 1 Grantsville 50-47 in the 3A state semifinals at the UCCU Center Tuesday. Avery Allred’s game-high 22 points led the Lady Cowboys in the loss. Emery next faces No. 2 Canyon View Wednesday at 5:00 pm for the 3A state championship.
OREM, Utah-Bethanee Vargas posted 16 points on 7-10 from the field and the No. 2 Canyon View Falcons overpowered No. 3 South Summit 45-37 Tuesday in the 3A state semifinals at the UCCU Center. Emma Broadbent’s 19 points and 17 rebounds led the Wildcats in the loss.
3A Consolation Bracket @ UCCU Center
OREM, Utah-Maggie Rosenbeck posted 16 points on 4-8 from the field and the No. 7 Juab Wasps ended the No. 6 Richfield Wildcats’ season with a 56-47 win in the 3A consolation bracket Tuesday at the UCCU Center. Jordyn Bagley netted 21 points on 6-12 from the field in the loss for the Wildcats. Juab next plays for 5th place Wednesday morning at 10:00 am at the UCCU Center against No. 8 Judge.
OREM, Utah-Elyah Ocampo’s 11 points led the way and the No. 8 Judge Bulldogs downed No. 4 Morgan 41-29 Tuesday in the consolation bracket at the UCCU Center. Zoe Rockenfield’s 8 points led the Trojans in the loss.
