2A State Semifinals @ SVC
RICHFIELD, Utah-Kyle Brown posted 19 points and the No. 1 Kanab Cowboys outlasted No. 4 ALA 58-53 in overtime in the 2A state semifinals Friday at the Sevier Valley Center. Kannon Huntsman’s 21 points and 12 rebounds on 8-14 from the field led the Eagles in the loss. Kanab next faces No. 2 South Sevier Saturday at 7:00 pm for the state championship.
RICHFIELD, Utah-Stockton Roberts led the way with 15 points and the No. 2 South Sevier Rams got past No. 3 North Summit 56-47 at the Sevier Valley Center Friday in the 2A state semifinals. Trevor Richins led the Braves in the loss with 18 points.
2A Consolation Bracket @ SVC
RICHFIELD, Utah-Brody Bulloch netted 24 points and the No. 12 North Sevier Wolves upset No. 9 APA West Valley 63-59 Friday in the 2A consolation bracket at the Sevier Valley Center. Kade Johnson added 23 points and 7 rebounds on 11-20 from the field in victory for the Wolves. Sharmarkaay Mbwera posted 15 points and 9 rebounds on 5-9 from the field and 2-3 from range in the loss for the Eagles. North Sevier next faces No. 6 Enterprise in the battle of the Wolves Saturday at 11:40 am for 5th place at the Sevier Valley Center.
RICHFIELD, Utah-Treyson Whitman’s 19 points and 11 rebounds led the way and the No. 6 Enterprise Wolves routed No. 7 Draper APA 61-38 Friday at the Sevier Valley Center in the 2A consolation bracket. Anthony Burris led the Eagles in defeat with 10 points.

RICHFIELD, Utah-Hayzlyn Murdock netted 19 points and 12 rebounds and the No. 1 North Summit Braves overpowered No. 4 Draper APA 53-44 at the Sevier Valley Center in the 2A state semifinals Friday. Aaliyah Baldwin’s 17 points led the Eagles in the loss. The Braves next face No. 3 South Sevier in the 2A state championship game Saturday at 5:00 pm.
RICHFIELD, Utah-Sydnee Patterson recorded 25 points and 6 rebounds on 8-13 from the field and 3-3 from range as the No. 3 South Sevier Rams downed the No. 2 Kanab Lady Cowboys 45-33 in the 2A state semifinals Friday at the Sevier Valley Center. Rylee Little’s 18 points and 15 rebounds on 6-11 from the field led the Lady Cowboys in the loss.

RICHFIELD, Utah-Gentry Brown posted 23 points and 6 rebounds on 9-15 from the field and 4-6 behind the arc and the No. 6 Beaver Beavers routed No. 10 Grand 59-16 Friday in the 2A consolation bracket at the Sevier Valley Center. Ainsleigh Kasprick led the Red Devils in the loss with 6 points. Beaver next faces No. 5 Duchesne Saturday at 10:00 am for 5th place.
RICHFIELD, Utah-Chezney Farnsworth netted 14 points and the No. 5 Duchesne Eagles waxed No. 8 St. Joseph 31-24 in the 2A consolation bracket at the Sevier Valley Center Friday. Mimi DeWitte’s 12 points and 10 rebounds on 6-11 from the field led the Jayhawks in the loss.
