Region 14

MT. PLEASANT, Utah-Tyrel Morley posted 20 points and 5 rebounds on 8-14 from the field as the North Sanpete Hawks secured the Region 14 title with a 65-46 rout of Delta Friday for Senior Night at North Sanpete High School.

Duncan Hendry added 16 points and 6 rebounds on 5-7 from the field for the Hawks in victory.

Cai Henderson’s 14 points and 8 rebounds led the Rabbits in defeat.

North Sanpete concludes the regular season at 17-3 and 7-1 in Region 14 play. Delta concludes the regular season at 1-19 and 0-8 in Region 14 play.

The RPI will be released Saturday morning, determining the postseason situation for the Hawks and Rabbits, and all other 3A teams.

Preliminary reports suggest North Sanpete next hosts an unspecified opponent Saturday February 19 in the second round of the 3A tournament. Preliminary reports also suggest Delta will play Wednesday February 16 on the road at an unspecified location.

MANTI, Utah-Raycen Olsen led the way with 14 points and the Union Cougars edged Manti 57-55 in Region 14 boys basketball play Friday. Reggie Frischknecht had 22 points for the Templars in defeat.

Region 16

SALINA, Utah-Parker Crum posted 24 points and the Duchesne Eagles bested North Sevier 56-44 Friday in Region 16 boys basketball play. Keaton Rosquist had 16 points for the Wolves in the loss.

FILLMORE, Utah-Hunter Rhodes netted 27 points and the Millard Eagles pummeled North Summit 72-35 in Region 16 boys basketball action Friday. Trey Pace had 16 points for the Braves in defeat.

Region 19

KANAB, Utah-Jordan Cornell stepped up with 32 points, connecting on 8 3-pointers, and the Kanab Cowboys gashed San Juan 68-51 Friday in Region 19 boys basketball play. Jace Palmer had 16 points for the Broncos in the loss.

BEAVER, Utah-Brock Felder led the way with 26 points and the Parowan Rams pounded Beaver 58-37 in Region 19 boys basketball play Friday. Taggart Harris had 10 points for the Beavers in defeat.

MONROE, Utah-Ridge Tebbs and Keagan Heath had 17 points apiece and the South Sevier Rams edged Enterprise 59-56 Friday in Region 19 boys basketball play. Ryland Randall had 16 points for the Wolves in the loss.

Region 20

ORDERVILLE, Utah-McCoy Harris stepped up with 21 points and the Valley Buffaloes smacked Wayne 43-36 in Region 20 boys basketball play Friday. Jake Batty led the Badgers in the loss with 11 points.

The Buffaloes are the No. 5 seed in the Region 20 tournament and will visit No. 4 Bryce Valley Tuesday at 6:00 pm.

Region 19

BLANDING, Utah-The Kanab Lady Cowboys took control in the second quarter and pulled away from there for a 57-31 win over San Juan in Region 19 girls basketball action Friday.
