DELTA, Utah-Kate Smith led the way with 14 points and the Delta Rabbits downed North Sanpete 39-35 at the Palladium Thursday in Region 14 girls basketball play. Tylee Henrie had 12 points for the Hawks in defeat.
ROOSEVELT, Utah-The Union Cougars jumped out to an early 10 point lead and never look back as they topped Manti 52-41 in Region 14 girls basketball action Thursday. Charlee Mandel scored 12 points to lead Manti in the loss.
Region 16
FILLMORE, Utah-Kara Camp stepped up with 17 points and the Millard Eagles surged past North Summit 58-47 Thursday in Region 16 girls basketball action. Hartlyn Richins had 17 points and 5 rebounds for the Braves in the loss.
SALINA, Utah-Brooklyn Butler posted 20 points and the North Sevier Wolves got past Duchesne 53-49 in Region 16 girls basketball play Thursday. Kelsey Grant had 13 points in defeat for the Eagles.
Region 18
LINDON, Utah-Kate Killpack’s 17 points led the way and the Maeser Prep Lions decimated Wasatch Academy 52-14 in Region 18 girls basketball play Thursday. Kelsey Marino’s 9 points led the Tigers in defeat.
Region 19
ENTERPRISE, Utah-Noah Moyle had 10 points and the Enterprise Wolves got past South Sevier 34-29 in Region 19 girls basketball play Thursday. Alexa Robinson had 8 points in defeat for the Rams.
PAROWAN, Utah-Kenzlee Carter netted 12 points and the Beaver Beavers gashed Parowan 51-37 Thursday in Region 19 girls basketball play. Karlee Wood’s game-high 17 points led the Rams in the loss.
Region 20
JUNCTION, Utah-Brooklyn Jessen led the way with 10 points and the Piute Thunderbirds humbled Escalante 33-25 Thursday in Region 20 girls basketball play. Kenzie Lyman led the Moquis in the loss with 7 points.
TROPIC, Utah-Kristen Stewart and Amanda Chynoweth had 12 points apiece and the Bryce Valley Mustangs got past Water Canyon 36-31 in Region 20 girls basketball play Thursday. Melissa Jessop’s game-high 17 points led the Wildcats in defeat.
ORDERVILLE, Utah-AnDee VanDyke posted 17 points and the Wayne Badgers got past Valley 53-47 Thursday in Region 20 girls basketball play. Janilyn Hoyt had 16 points for the Buffaloes in the loss.
