JUNCTION, Utah-Rustyn Chynoweth posted 12 points and the Bryce Valley Mustangs edged Piute 44-42 in Region 20 boys basketball play Wednesday. Braige Millett led the Thunderbirds in defeat with 13 points.
Non-Region
HERRIMAN, Utah-Austin Park recorded 19 points and 5 assists on 8-14 from the field and the Juab Wasps bludgeoned Providence Hall 76-47 Wednesday at Providence Hall Junior High School in non-region boys basketball play. The Wasps shot 51 percent (32-63) for the game. Austin Garrett posted 17 points and 6 rebounds on 6-11 from the field in defeat for the Patriots.
BLANDING, Utah-Tripp Palmer and Cole Duke posted 16 points apiece and the San Juan Broncos routed Millard 71-53 Wednesday in non-region boys basketball play. Derk Memmott led the way in defeat with 16 points.
EAGLE MOUNTAIN, Utah-Bridger Hill netted 17 points and the Gunnison Valley Bulldogs downed Rockwell 61-54 in non-region boys basketball play Wednesday. Isaac Christiansen had 16 points in the loss for the Marshals.
MONROE, Utah-Brace Brindley led the way with 20 points and the South Sevier Rams got past Carbon 69-65 in non-region boys basketball play Wednesday. Kyler Orth had a game-high 26 points in the loss for the Dinos.
SALINA, Utah-Efrain Bernardino netted 18 points and the North Sevier Wolves humbled Beaver 54-39 Wednesday in non-region boys basketball play. Deegan Blackner led the Beavers in defeat with 15 points.
ST. GEORGE, Utah-Mason Rasmussen posted 15 points and 5 rebounds and the Desert Hills Thunder dismantled Richfield 61-52 in non-region boys basketball play Wednesday. Jorgen Southwick led the Wildcats in the loss with 17 points.
Boys Wrestling
Emery 42 Richfield 39- Treven Sorenson, Hyrum Foster, Braxton Branham, Ashton Knaphus, Braden Puentes and Coleman Thorson had pins in the loss for the Wildcats.
Delta 45 Carbon 28- Braxton Kesler, Dominic Villegas, Kash Nelson, Alan Mendez, Kage Bunker and Carter Anderson all earned pins in the win for the Rabbits.
Girls Wrestling
Juab 42 Carbon 24- Andelynn Stephenson, Kyra Defino, Atti Nielson, Emily Shoemaker, Kyra Pay and Morgan Holdaway all had pins in the win for the Wasps.
