CEDAR CITY, Utah-Kruz Gardner netted 20 points and 10 rebounds and the Hurricane Tigers stymied South Sevier 55-37 Tuesday at the Steve Hodson Cancer Classic at Canyon View High School.

CEDAR CITY, Utah-Hunter Rhodes stepped up with 20 points and the Millard Eagles edged Emery 59-57 at the Steve Hodson Cancer Classic Tuesday at Canyon View High School. Brett Rasmussen and Kysen Curtis had 12 points apiece in the loss for the Spartans.

JUNCTION, Utah-Grayce Glover scored 26 points and the Kanab Lady Cowboys beat Piute 54-38 Tuesday in non-region girls basketball action. Anna Cutler added 17 points in the win for Kanab, while Hannah Wittwer posted 13 points in the loss for the Thunderbirds.
