Boys Basketball

Region 18

KANAB, Utah-Kale Glover posted 17 points and the Kanab Cowboys downed South Sevier 48-38 in Region 18 boys basketball play. Mackson Bastian led 11 points in the loss for the Rams.

Region 20

TROPIC, Utah-Sadler Barnes posted 25 points and the Milford Tigers edged Bryce Valley 71-69 in Region 20 boys basketball play Wednesday. Luke Andrus led the Mustangs in defeat with 19 points.

Non-Region

OGDEN, Utah-Jackson Maw netted 12 points and 7 rebounds and the Ogden Tigers got past North Sanpete 38-34 in non-region boys basketball play Wednesday at Phil Russell Court. Ridge Hendry posted 12 points and 5 rebounds in the loss for the Hawks.

NEPHI, Utah-Joseph Wolfe posted 16 points and the Payson Lions clobbered Juab 82-48 Wednesday in non-region boys basketball play. Trent Baker’s 11 points led the way in defeat for the Wasps.

BEAVER, Utah-Bronco Bundy netted 15 points and the Delta Rabbits smacked Beaver 67-48 Wednesday in non-region boys basketball play. Myka Cluff led the Beavers in defeat with 15 points.

GUNNISON, Utah-Connor Stevens and Derk Memmott posted 12 points apiece and the Millard Eagles downed Gunnison Valley 57-52 in non-region boys basketball play Wednesday. Braxton Pickett’s 19 points led the Bulldogs in defeat.

HURRICANE, Utah-Brigham Kemp netted 21 points and the Hurricane Tigers downed Richfield 66-62 Wednesday in non-region boys basketball play.

Girls Basketball

Region 20

ORDERVILLE, Utah-AJ VanDyke posted 9 points and the Wayne Badgers downed Valley 37-27 in Region 20 girls basketball play Wednesday. Maddie Cox led the Buffalos in the loss with 8 points.

ESCALANTE, Utah-Amy Morgan stepped up with 20 points and the Piute Thunderbirds crushed Escalante 58-33 Wednesday in Region 20 girls basketball play. Cora Garner led the Moquis in defeat with 11 points.

MILFORD, Utah-Makena Owens netted 15 points and the Panguitch Bobcats stymied Milford 58-47 in non-region girls basketball play Wednesday. Jaidyn McMullin’s game-high 25 points led the Tigers in the loss.
