2A State Semifinals @ Southern Utah University

CEDAR CITY, Utah-Beau Yeomans completed 22 of 34 passes for 337 yards and a score and Jagger Nieves contributed with four short touchdowns runs as the No. 1 San Juan Broncos blasted No. 4 Summit Academy 51-27 in the 2A state semifinals Saturday at Eccles Coliseum on the campus of Southern Utah University. Preston MacKowiak threw for 228 yards and three touchdowns, but three interceptions as well, in the loss for the Bears. San Juan next plays for a 2A state championship Saturday at 4:00 pm at Zions Bank Stadium of Herriman against No. 3 South Summit.

CEDAR CITY, Utah-Ian Mair ran for a score and tossed a touchdown pass as the No. 3 South Summit Wildcats pummeled No. 2 South Sevier 34-0 at Eccles Coliseum Saturday at Eccles Coliseum on the campus of Southern Utah University in the 2A state semifinals.

CEDAR CITY, Utah-Hayden Gubler ran for 161 yards on two scores on eight carries (20.1 yards per carry) and the No. 1 Kanab Cowboys pummeled No. 4 North Summit 43-19 Saturday in the 1A state semifinals at Eccles Coliseum. Brogun Virostko (8/12, 128 yards, 3 TD’s) and Latimer Glover (5 rec, 89 yards, 2 TD’s) also led a Kanab offense which amassed 466 yards of offense on the afternoon. Cru Richins (14/22, 170 yards, 2 TD’s) led the Braves in the loss. Kanab next plays for a 1A state championship Saturday at 7:00 pm against No. 2 Beaver at Zions Bank Stadium of Herriman.

CEDAR CITY, Utah-Davin Orton threw a 76-yard touchdown pass to Emmet Lurth and ran for 114 yards and another score as the No. 2 Beaver Beavers overpowered No. 3 Duchesne 24-14 in the 1A state semifinals at Eccles Coliseum Saturday. Kaden Thacker and Brex Robinson each caught touchdown passes in the loss for the Eagles.
