RICHFIELD, Utah-Tera Morgan’s 11 points and 6 rebounds led the way and the Piute Thunderbirds clobbered Green River 54-20 Saturday to conclude the 1A season preview at the Sevier Valley Center Saturday. Abigail Erwin netted 18 points and 14 rebounds in the loss for the Pirates. The Thunderbirds commence the season at 2-0.
RICHFIELD, Utah-Shandi Syrett posted 18 points on 8-11 from the field and the Bryce Valley Mustangs humbled Intermountain Christian 38-28 to conclude the 1A season preview at the Sevier Valley Center Saturday. Makenna Stoddard’s 16 points led the Lions in defeat.
RICHFIELD, Utah-Abbee Holman posted 13 points on 6-12 shooting and the Panguitch Bobcats downed Monticello 47-19 Saturday to conclude the 1A season preview at the Sevier Valley Center. Abbee Holman with 13/5 on 6-12 for Panguitch. Ciara McArthy/Rosy Beh and Gemma Robinson had 4 apiece for the Buckaroos in the loss.
RICHFIELD, Utah-Haylie Durfey hit a key 3-pointer and a pair of clutch free throws to help Wayne outlast Tabiona 47-42 Saturday to conclue the 1A season preview at the Sevier Valley Center. AnDee VanDyke (16 points, 11 rebounds) led the Badgers in the win. Abbie Rhoades (15 points, 13 rebounds) led the Tigers in defeat.

RICHFIELD, Utah-Nadia Griffin stepped up with 10 points and 11 rebounds as the Escalante Moquis became the first team at the tournament to improve to 2-0 on the season Saturday at the Sevier Valley Center as the 1A season preview concluded. Zoee Torgerson added 10 points and 8 rebounds for Escalante in the victory.
