3A State Quarterfinals
MANTI, Utah-Carter Mason threw an 11-yard touchdown pass to Ty Pringle and the No. 4 Manti Templars blanked No. 5 Juab 28-0 in the 3A state quarterfinals Friday. Jaiden Henningson, Tala Taulapapa and Isaac Crowther also ran for scores in the win for the Templars. Manti next faces No. 1 Morgan Friday at 1:00 pm in the state semifinals at Zions Bank Stadium.
MORGAN, Utah-Beck Sheffield threw two touchdown passes and the No. 1 Morgan Trojans smacked No. 8 Canyon View 43-10 Friday in the 3A state quarterfinals. Drew Korth and Lincoln Gilson ran for two scores apiece and Korth added a touchdown reception in the win for Morgan. Bubba Ludlow caught a 75-yard touchdown pass and Asher Slack made a 36-yard field goal in the loss for the Falcons.
RICHFIELD, Utah-Griffin Wayman threw two touchdown passes and ran for another score as the No. 2 Richfield Wildcats bested No. 7 Juan Diego 34-27 in the 3A state quarterfinals Friday. Malik Fautin and Gage Yardley also ran for scores in the win for Richfield while Yardley added a scoring reception for the Wildcats as well. Corbin Buckley ran for three scores and Roman Rosano added a 60-yard touchdown run in defeat for the Soaring Eagle. Richfield next faces No. 3 Grantsville Friday at 7:00 pm in the state semifinals at Zions Bank Stadium.
GRANTSVILLE, Utah-Dallan Van Vliet threw two touchdown passes and the No. 3 Grantsville Cowboys lassoed No. 6 Ogden 30-0 Friday in the 3A state quarterfinals. Jayden Atkinson ran for two more scores in the win for Grantsville.
2A State Quarterfinals
BLANDING, Utah-Jaiten Knight threw three touchdown passes and the No. 1 San Juan Broncos decimated No. 8 Judge 60-12 in the 2A state quarterfinals Friday. Adrian Palmer threw two touchdown passes to King Long in defeat for the Bulldogs. San Juan next faces No. 4 Delta Saturday at 1:00 pm in the 2A state semifinals at Zions Bank Stadium.
DELTA, Utah-Jett Rawlinson ran for two scores and Roper Crane added another touchdown run and the No. 4 Delta Rabbits downed No. 5 South Summit 28-17 Friday in the 2A state quarterfinals. Blake Osguthorpe and Owen Mair each threw touchdown passes in defeat for the Wildcats.
MONROE, Utah-Liam Larson ran for two scores and the No. 6 Summit Academy Bears overpowered No. 3 South Sevier 42-28 in the 2A state quarterfinals Friday. Kanyon Okerlund threw four touchdown passes in defeat for the Rams. Summit Academy next faces No. 2 Emery Saturday at 7:00 pm at Zions Bank Stadium in the 2A state semifinals.
CASTLE DALE, Utah-Treven Gilbert threw three touchdown passes and the No. 2 Emery Spartans pounded No. 7 ALA 70-21 Friday in the 2A state quarterfinals. Nico Marble threw two touchdown passes in defeat for the Eagles.
1A State Quarterfinals
KANAB, Utah-Hayden Gubler and Rider Allen ran for two scores apiece and the No. 3 Kanab Cowboys shellacked No. 6 Millard 41-6 Friday in the 1A state quarterfinals. Cooper Anderson threw a 14-yard touchdown pass to Logan Veater and Troy Federkeil added a 22-yard touchdown run in the win for Kanab. The Cowboys next draw No. 2 North Summit Saturday at 4:00 pm in the 1A state semifinals at Zions Bank Stadium.
COALVILLE, Utah-Jake Smith and McKade Nelson ran for two scores apiece and the No. 2 North Summit Braves pulverized No. 7 North Sevier 47-6 in the 1A state quarterfinals Friday. Rylan Frischknecht threw an 11-yard touchdown pass to Hagan Olsen in the loss for the Wolves.
BEAVER, Utah-Davin Orton ran for a pair of scores and the No. 1 Beaver Beavers pummeled No. 8 Enterprise 35-0 Friday in the 1A state quarterfinals. Deegan Blackner and Sawyer Hollingshead also ran for scores in the win for the Beavers. Deagen Horner and Emmet Lurth each made field goals in victory for Beaver. Beaver next faces No. 4 Milford in an all-Beaver County final in the 1A state semifinals Saturday at 10:00 am at Zions Bank Stadium.
MILFORD, Utah-Colton Barnes ran for two scores and the No. 4 Milford Tigers waxed No. 5 Duchesne 35-24 in the 1A state quarterfinals Friday. Kyzler Merryweather ran for a score for Milford and Griffin Walker returned an interception 98 yards for another score in the win for the Tigers. Nashden Goodliffe threw a touchdown pass and ran for another score in the loss for the Eagles.
8-Player Quarterfinals
RANDOLPH, Utah-Carter Hoffman and Jett Holmes each threw a pair of touchdown passes and the No. 1 Rich Rebels routed No. 8 Utah Military-Camp Williams 47-8 Friday in the 8-Player quarterfinals. James Sullivan ran for a 1-yard touchdown in defeat for the Marauders. Rich next faces No. 4 Altamont Friday at 10:00 in the state semifinals at Zions Bank Stadium.
ALTAMONT, Utah-The No. 4 Altamont Longhorns dismantled No. 5 St. Joseph 38-20 in the 8-Player quarterfinals Friday.
MONTICELLO, Utah-Jackson Keyes threw a pair of touchdown passes and the No. 2 Monticello Buckaroos pummeled No. 7 Utah Military Hill Field 63-8 in the 8-Player quarterfinals Friday. Tavon Black ran for two more scores in the win for the Buckaroos. Monticello next faces No. 3 Water Canyon Friday at 4:00 pm at Zions Bank Stadium in the state semifinals.
HILDALE, Utah-The No. 3 Water Canyon Wildcats clobbered No. 6 Whitehorse 58-8 Friday in the 8-Player quarterfinals.
