1A State Second Round @ Snow Canyon High School
ST. GEORGE, Utah-Ricardo Navarro and Cooper Owens each drove in two runs apiece and the No. 2 Bryce Valley Mustangs downed No. 7 Tintic 10-1 in the second round of the 1A state baseball playoffs at Snow Canyon High School Monday. Clay Gray, Antonio Moreno and Gerardo Lopez drove in an additional run apiece in the win for the Mustangs. Braylon Jones drove in a run in defeat for the Miners. Bryce Valley next faces No. 6 Valley Thursday at 4:00 pm in the state quarterfinals at Gates Field at Kearns High School.
ST. GEORGE, Utah-Boede Cox drove in two runs and Weston Baird added another RBI as the Valley Buffalos waxed Altamont 3-1 Monday in the second round of the 1A state baseball playoffs at Snow Canyon High School.
ST. GEORGE, Utah-Traiger Ramsay drove in four runs and the No. 1 Panguitch Bobcats clobbered No. 8 Intermountain Christian 12-0 in the second round of the 1A state baseball playoffs Monday at Snow Canyon High School. Maddix Johnson drove in two more runs in the win for Panguitch and Daxton Miller, Bridger Chappell, Quade Veater, Remme Chappell and Burkley Dalton drove in a run apiece in the win for the Bobcats. Panguitch next plays in the state quarterfinals at Gates Field at Kearns High School Thursday at 1:00 pm against No. 4 Piute.

GEORGE, Utah-Tavin Jessen drove in a pair of runs and the No. 4 Piute Thunderbirds blanked No. 12 Green River 5-0 Monday in the second round of the 1A state baseball playoffs at Snow Canyon High School. Boide Gayler and Braige Millett drove in an additional run apiece in the win for the Thunderbirds. Brodee Montague posted 10 strikeouts in six innings of work to earn the win on the mound for Piute.
