Quarterfinals
OREM, Utah-The No. 1 seed Emery Spartans pummeled No. 8 seed Ogden 3-0 in the state quarterfinals Wednesday at the UCCU Center. The Spartans routed the Tigers 25-4, 25-16, 25-12 to cruise to the straight sets victory. Emery next competes in the state semifinals Thursday at 9:30 am at UVU against Union.
OREM, Utah-The No. 2 Morgan Trojans bested No. 10 Delta 3-0 Wednesday at the UCCU Center in the state quarterfinals. The Trojans prevailed over the Rabbits 25-18, 25-14, 25-15. Morgan next faces Richfield Thursday at 11:00 am in the state semifinals at the UCCU Center.
OREM, Utah-The No. 4 Union Cougars stymied No. 5 South Summit 3-0 at the UCCU Center in the state quarterfinals Wednesday. The Cougars bested the Wildcats 27-25, 25-12, 25-21.
OREM, Utah-The Cinderella No. 14 Richfield Wildcats ensued in their hot streak by dismantling North Sanpete 3-0 Wednesday in the 3-A state quarterfinals at the UCCU Center. The Wildcats bested the Hawks 25-22, 25-23, 25-18.
Second Round
OREM, Utah-The No. 1 seed Emery Spartans overpowered No. 16 Canyon View 3-0 in the second round of the 3-A State Tournament at the UCCU Center Wednesday. The Spartans prevailed over the Falcons 25-22, 25-15, 25-19. Emery next faces Ogden Wednesday at 12:00 pm in the state quarterfinals.

OREM, Utah-The defending state-champion No. 4 seed Union Cougars bested No. 13 Juan Diego 3-0 Wednesday in the second round of the 3-A State Tournament at the UCCU Center. The Cougars downed the Soaring Eagle 25-23, 25-13, 25-19.

The Wildcats stunned the Dinos 25-22, 26-28, 18-25, 25-20, 15-4. The Wildcats face No. 6 seed North Sanpete Wednesday at 1:30 pm in the state quarterfinals.

Consolation Bracket
OREM, Utah-The No. 16 Canyon View Falcons ended No. 9 Juab’s season with a 3-1 win over the Wasps Wednesday in the consolation bracket at the UCCU Center. The Falcons prevailed over the Wasps 21-25, 25-16, 25-23, 25-18. Canyon View next faces Judge Friday at 8:00 am in the consolation bracket at the UCCU Center.
OREM, Utah-The No. 12 seed Judge Bulldogs downed No. 13 Juan Diego 3-2 in the consolation bracket at the UCCU Center Wednesday. The Bulldogs prevailed over the Soaring Eagle 25-19, 14-25, 25-16, 19-25, 15-13.
OREM, Utah-The No. 3 Carbon Dinos ended No. 11 Manti’s season with a 3-0 win over the Templars Wednesday in the 3-A consolation bracket. The Dinos prevailed over the Templars 25-21, 25-21, 25-13. Carbon plays No. 7 Layton Christian Thursday at 8:00 am in the consolation bracket.
OREM, Utah-The No. 7 Layton Christian Eagles downed No. 15 Grand 3-0 in the 3-A consolation bracket Wednesday. The Eagles made quick work of the Red Devils, prevailing 25-9, 25-16, 25-19.
