1-A Volleyball Championship
OREM, Utah-The Panguitch Bobcats swept Monticello 3-0 Saturrday evening at Utah Valley University to win the 1-A volleyball championship for the fourth time in the past five years.
The Bobcats prevailed 25-15, 25-14 and 25-16 to make quick work of the Buckaroos.
This was Panguitch’s 7th all-time volleyball championship as well.
OREM, Utah-Monument Valley prevailed 15-10 in the fifth set to down Valley 3-2 Saturday in the 1-A 5th-7th place match at Utah Valley University.
OREM, Utah-The Tabiona Tigers outlasted Wayne 15-12 in the fifth set as they downed the Badgers 3-2 in the 1-A 6th-8th place match at Utah Valley University Saturday.
2-A 3rd-4th place match
OREM, Utah-The Gunnison Bulldogs outlasted Millard 3-2 Saturday in the 2-A volleyball 3rd-4th place match at Utah Valley University. The Bulldogs won 15-12 in the fifth set and also took 25-18 and 25-19 wins to best the Eagles. Millard won 25-21 and 25-21 in the first and second sets.
2-A 5th-7th place match
OREM, Utah-Kanab took a 16-14 win in the fifth set to edge Waterford 3-2 at Utah Valley University Saturday in the 2-A volleyball 5th-7th place match. Kanab also took 32-30 and 25-14 wins in the first and third sets, respectively.
