DELTA, Utah-Treven Gilbert completed 24 of 28 passes for 341 yards and four touchdowns as the Emery Spartans pounded Delta 55-21 in 2A South football play Friday. Emery outgained Delta 457-239 on the evening and raced to a 49-7 halftime lead.
Ty Stefanoff, one of the Rabbits’ seniors honored on Senior Night, ran for a pair of scores in his final regular season home game for Delta in defeat.
1A South
KANAB, Utah-Hayden Gubler ran for three scores and the Kanab Cowboys downed Milford 22-15 Friday in 1A South football play. Ray Capson added a 23-yard field goal in victory for Kanab. Kilo Tsosie threw a touchdown pass and ran for another score in the loss for the Tigers. Kanab now leads Milford 54-15-5 all-time in a series dating back to 1948.
1A North
GUNNISON, Utah-Kaden Turner threw a touchdown pass and ran for two more scores as the Millard Eagles clobbered Gunnison Valley 45-0 in non-region football play Friday. Morgan Tingey and Dak Eldredge also ran for scores in victory for Millard. Sergio Arellano also recorded a 38-yard field goal in the win for the Eagles.

SALINA, Utah-Rylan Frischknecht threw a pair of touchdown passes and the North Sevier Wolves edged Parowan 20-19 Friday in non-region football play. Hagan Olsen ran for another score in victory for the Wolves. Austin Smith caught a touchdown pass and Soren Mason and Hunter Bettridge each ran for a score in the loss for the Rams.
