GUNNISON, Utah-Trace York posted 27 points and 14 rebounds and the Grand Red Devils outlasted Gunnison Valley 70-62 in double overtime Saturday in Region 15 boys basketball play. Braxton Pickett’s 21 points on 7-13 and 3-6 from range led the Bulldogs in the loss. Gunnison Valley has played successive double overtime games and 12 net quarters of basketball during this Friday-Saturday series between San Juan and Grand. Following Saturday’s results, the Red Devils improved to 8-12 and 5-2 in Region 15 play and the Bulldogs fell to 9-9 and 3-4 in Region 15 play.

SALINA, Utah-The North Sevier Wolves outlasted San Juan 64-59 in overtime Saturday in Region 15 boys basketball play.

Girls Basketball

Region 15

MOAB, Utah-Trinity Bryant netted 16 points and the Grand Red Devils edged Gunnison Valley 44-43 in Region 15 girls basketball play Saturday. Rylee Bartholomew led the Bulldogs in the loss with 15 points.
