MONROE, Utah-Emilio Miramontes led the way with 23 points and the South Sevier Rams outlasted Parowan 79-76 in overtime in Region 19 boys basketball action Tuesday. Waylon Robinson’s game-high 25 points led the Parowan Rams in defeat.
ENTERPRISE, Utah-Austin Thomas stepped up with 18 points and the Enterprise Wolves downed Kanab 56-52 Tuesday in Region 19 boys basketball play. Kason Janes had a game-high 19 points in the loss for the Cowboys.
Region 20
MILFORD, Utah-Sadler Barnes posted 19 points and the Milford Tigers bested Wayne 60-55 in Region 20 boys basketball play Tuesday. Jake Batty led the Badgers in defat with 13 points.
Non-Region
MT. PLEASANT, Utah-Collin Murray-Boyles netted 31 points and the Wasatch Academy Tigers outlasted Class 5A power Alta 75-69 in non-region boys basketball action Tuesday. Jaxon Johnson led the Hawks in defeat with 20 points.
ESCALANTE, Utah-Kendal Gardner had 14 points and the Escalante Moquis edged Green River 42-41 Tuesday in non-region boys basketball play. Bridjer Meadows led the Pirates in the loss with 12 points.
Girls Basketball
Region 14
NEPHI, Utah-Heidi Jorgensen posted 15 points and the Manti Templars downed Juab 48-42 in Region 14 girls basketball play Tuesday. Avia Stowell led the Wasps with 15 points in the loss.
MT. PLEASANT, Utah-The Union Cougars got past North Sanpete 56-51 Tuesday in Region 14 girls basketball play.
Region 16
GUNNISON, Utah-Swayzee Mason netted 13 points and the North Sevier Wolves routed Gunnison Valley 51-22 in Region 16 girls basketball play Tuesday. Rilee Dyreng led the Bulldogs with 9 points in defeat.
Region 20
MILFORD, Utah-Aspen New and Emma Hallows had 15 points apiece and the Wayne Badgers clobbered Milford 56-33 Tuesday in Region 20 girls basketball play. Paizlee Florence led the Tigers in the loss with 11 points.
Non-Region
MOAB, Utah-Cadence Kasprick led the way with 22 points and the Grand Red Devils edged Panguitch 42-38 in non-region girls basketball action Tuesday. Mallory Henrie led the Bobcats with 15 points in the loss.
