Region 12
MT. PLEASANT, Utah-Austin Park netted 21 points and 8 rebounds and the Juab Wasps outlasted North Sanpete 51-45 in Region 12 boys basketball play Wednesday. Ridge Hendry’s 16 points led the Hawks in the loss. Juab used a 21-2 3rd Quarter surge to take a lead they would not relinquish for the rest of the game. Juab improved to 13-4 and 6-2 in Region 12 play while North Sanpete slumped to 3-10 and 2-6 in Region 12 play.
MANTI, Utah-Ty Attig posted 22 points and the Canyon View Falcons downed Manti 59-41 Wednesday in Region 12 boys basketball play. Lincoln Alder led the Templars in defeat with 13 points.
RICHFIELD, Utah-Gage Yardley netted 17 points and the Richfield Wildcats smacked Emery 54-33 in Region 12 boys basketball play Wednesday. Scott Johansen’s game-high 19 points led the Spartans in the loss.
DELTA, Utah-Bronco Bundy’s 21 points led the way and the Delta Rabbits routed Carbon 58-41 Wednesday in Region 12 boys basketball play at the Palladium. Kyler Orth led the Dinos in defeat with 13 points.
Region 18
BEAVER, Utah-Myka Cluff posted 21 points and 8 rebounds and the Beaver Beavers edged Millard 70-66 in Region 18 boys basketball play Wednesday.
MONROE, Utah-Kanyon Okerlund netted 14 points and the South Sevier Rams routed Water Canyon 64-18 Wednesday in Region 18 boys basketball play. Domanik LaCorti led the Wildcats with 12 points in the loss.
Girls Basketball
Region 20
JUNCTION, Utah-Maddie Cox posted 12 points and the Valley Buffalos waxed Piute 51-39 Wednesday in Region 20 girls basketball play. Amy Morgan led the Thunderbirds with 11 points in defeat.
MILFORD, Utah-Jaidyn McMullin led the way with 12 points and the Milford Tigers smacked Escalante 59-27 in Region 20 girls basketball play Wednesday.
TROPIC, Utah-Hailey Yardley recorded 21 points and the Panguitch Bobcats routed Bryce Valley 58-25 Wednesday in Region 20 girls basketball play. Grace Leech led the Mustangs in the loss with 12 points.
Non-Region
KANAB, Utah-Rylee Little recorded 24 points and the Kanab Lady Cowboys lassoed Wayne 72-51 in non-region girls basketball play Wednesday. AJ VanDyke’s game-high 32 points, on 10 3-pointers, led the Badgers in the loss.
