BICKNELL, Utah-Blake Peterson’s 22 points and 6 assists led the way as the Wayne Badgers bested Piute 53-44 Tuesday in Region 20 boys basketball play.
Non-Region
SALINA, Utah-Kade Johnson netted 22 points and 7 rebounds on 11-17 from the field and the North Sevier Wolves got past Bryce Valley 59-55 in non-region boys basketball play Tuesday.
The Wolves shot 57 percent (26-46) for the game, including 67 percent shooting (16-24) in the second half.
North Sevier used a 24-13 surge in the 4th Quarter to pull away.
Luke Andrus posted 19 points on 6-8 and 3-3 behind the arc in the loss for the Mustangs.
FREDONIA, Ariz.-The Escalante Moquis clobbered the Fredonia (Ariz.) Lynx 65-29 Tuesday in non-region boys basketball play.
KANAB, Utah-Daxton Miller and Remme Chappell had 20 points apiece and the Panguitch Bobcats edged Kanab 62-59 in non-region boys basketball play Tuesday. Cash Mortensen led the Cowboys with 17 points in the loss.

Region 12
CEDAR CITY, Utah-Bethanee Vargas led the way with 15 points and the Canyon View Falcons overpowered Manti 52-36 in Region 12 girls basketball play Tuesday. June Olsen led the Templars in the loss with 16 points.
CASTLE DALE, Utah-Jordyn Bagley netted 20 points and the Richfield Wildcats gashed Emery 50-42 Tuesday in Region 12 girls basketball play at the Spartan Center. Katelyn Nielson led the Spartans in the loss with 20 points.
DELTA, Utah-Jacie Jensen posted 17 points and the Carbon Dinos edged Delta 50-47 in Region 12 girls basketball play Tuesday at the Palladium. Joslyn Christiansen’s game-high 18 points led the Rabbits in defeat.
NEPHI, Utah-Hailee Hall led the way with 17 points and the Juab Wasps clobbered North Sanpete 46-26 Tuesday at The Pit Tuesday in Region 12 girls basketball play. Sadie Job had 10 points for the Hawks in the loss.

HILDALE, Utah-Sydnee Patterson posted 21 points and the South Sevier Rams clobbered Water Canyon 74-41 Tuesday in Region 18 girls basketball play. Martha Jessop led the Wildcats in defeat for 17 points.
FILLMORE, Utah-Danzee Bradshaw netted 18 points and the Beaver Beavers humbled Millard 47-38 in Region 18 girls basketball play Tuesday. Blakelie Davies led the Eagles with 10 points in the loss.
