Region 12
RICHFIELD, Utah-Gage Yardley led the way with 14 points and the Richfield Wildcats gashed Manti 50-41 in Region 12 boys basketball play Friday. Dax Anderson netted a game-high 17 points in the loss for the Templars.
CASTLE DALE, Utah-West Johansen netted 19 points and the Emery Spartans drilled Delta 68-53 Friday at the Spartan Center in Region 12 boys basketball play. Tate Topham led the Rabbits in the loss with 13 points.
CEDAR CITY, Utah-Trenton “Bubba” Ludlow netted 18 points and the Canyon View Falcons got past North Sanpete 56-50 in Region 12 boys basketball play Friday. Ridge Hendry led the Hawks with a game-high 30 points in the loss.
PRICE, Utah-Austin Park posted 24 points and the Juab Wasps humbled Carbon 60-56 Friday in Region 12 boys basketball play. Cannon Mortensen led the Dinos in the loss with 12 points.
Region 15
COALVILLE, Utah-Buck Sargent netted 22 points and 16 rebounds and the North Summit Braves smacked Gunnison Valley 58-36 in Region 15 boys basketball play Friday. Landry Edwards led the Bulldogs in the loss with 9 points.
DUCHESNE, Utah-Kade Johnson led the way with 17 points and the North Sevier Wolves waxed Duchesne 50-36 Friday in Region 15 boys basketball play. Tanner Stansfield led the Eagles in defeat with 10 points.
Region 18
PAROWAN, Utah-Tate Stubbs recorded 19 points and 7 rebounds on 6-11 from the field, 3-4 behind the arc and 4-4 at the foul line as the Parowan Rams clobbered Millard 63-37 Friday in Region 18 boys basketball play. Following a 13-13 deadlock after the 1st Quarter, Parowan went on a 50-24 run the rest of the way, including 32-13 in the 2nd half to obtain the victory. Derk Memmott netted 13 points and 9 rebounds on 5-10 from the field an 3-3 at the foul line in the loss for the Eagles.
MONROE, Utah-Cash Mortensen posted 25 points and the Kanab Cowboys downed South Sevier 60-54 in Region 18 boys basketball play Friday. Slayde Summerhayes, Stockton Roberts and Jagger Redd had 9 points apiece in defeat for the Rams.
Girls Basketball
Region 16
MT. PLEASANT, Utah-Megan Young and Minnie Weaver posted 11 points apiece and the Vanguard Knights routed Wasatch Academy 52-15 in Region 16 girls basketball play Friday.
Region 20
MILFORD, Utah-Jaidyn McMullin stepped up with 14 points and the Milford Tigers bested Piute 51-44 Friday in Region 20 girls basketball play. Kamren Gaylor had 13 points in the loss for the Thunderbirds.
Non-Region
BEAVER, Utah-Ellie Stephens led the way with 13 points and the North Summit Braves stymied Beaver 53-45 Friday in non-region girls basketball play. Danzee Bradshaw’s game-high 18 points led the Beavers in the loss.
