RICHFIELD, Utah-Griffin Wayman and Miles Barnett led the way with 16 points apiece and the Richfield Wildcats edged Emery 67-64 Wednesday in Region 12 boys basketball play. Wade Stilson’s game-high 31 points led the Spartans in defeat.
Region 14
NEPHI, Utah-Braxton Hooper posted 15 points and the Juab Wasps gashed Union 56-43 in Region 14 boys basketball action Wednesday. Alec Labrum led the Cougars in the loss with 10 points.
MT. PLEASANT, Utah-Tyler Allan netted 18 points on 6-10 from the field as the North Sanpete Hawks got past Delta 59-52 Wednesday in Region 14 boys basketball play.
Region 16
FILLMORE, Utah-Hunter Rhodes netted 20 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists and the Millard Eagles stymied North Sevier 71-55 in Region 16 boys basketball action Wednesday. The Eagles shot 51 percent (30-59) for the game in improving to 10-5 on the season and 1-0 in region play. Randy Elmer led the Wolves in the loss with 18 points and 6 rebounds as they fell to 5-8 and 0-2 in region play.
GUNNISON, Utah-Jon Willden stepped up with 22 points and the Gunnison Valley Bulldogs waxed North Summit 67-58 Wednesday in Region 16 boys basketball play.
Region 20
JUNCTION, Utah-Cache Eyre posted 23 points and the Panguitch Bobcats clobbered Piute 74-44 Wednesday in Region 20 boys basketball play. Brooks Dalton led the Thunderbirds in the loss with 18 points.
MILFORD, Utah-Trey Rose amassed 30 points and 10 rebounds and the Milford Tigers pounded Diamond Ranch 80-42 in Region 20 boys basketball play Wednesday.
BICKNELL, Utah-Jake Peterson recorded 17 points on 8-13 from the field as the Wayne Badgers hammered Water Canyon 62-35 Wednesday in Region 20 boys basketball play.
TROPIC, Utah-Bret Heaton led the way with 21 points and the Valley Buffaloes stormed past Bryce Valley 53-35 in Region 20 boys basketball play Wednesday. Treyson Clark’s 14 points led the Mustangs in defeat.

Region 19
ENTERPRISE, Utah-Sydnee Patterson and Kinley Jenson led the way with 14 points apiece and the South Sevier Rams smacked Enterprise 44-25 Wednesday in Region 19 girls basketball action. Addi Nelson led the Wolves in the loss with 15 points.
PAROWAN, Utah-The Parowan Rams downed Beaver 48-37 Wednesday in Region 19 girls basketball play.
