Mike Saunders Jr. Commits To Utah Basketball Saturday

SALT LAKE CITY-Saturday, former Wasatch Academy standout Mike Saunders Jr. committed to Utah Basketball.

The native of Indianapolis spent the first two seasons of his collegiate career at Cincinnati where he was a teammate of Utes forward Gabe Madsen.

In two seasons with the Bearcats, Saunders Jr. averaged 7.3 points and 1.9 rebounds per game.

During the transfer portal recruiting process, Saunders Jr. received offers from BYU, Miami (Fla.), UNLV, Wichita State, Santa Clara, Iona, Grand Canyon, Nevada, California, Wyoming, Duquesne, Tulsa and Winthrop among others.
