SALT LAKE CITY-Friday evening, 247sports.com confirmed the University of Utah’s football program signed Kahuku High School star Mana Carvalho out of Kahuku, Hawai’i.

Defensively, Carvalho recorded five interceptions for the Red Raiders last season and will come to the Utes as an athlete.

Carvalho chose Utah over Boise State, Nevada, Hawai’i and Harvard.
