OGDEN, Utah-Former Weber State football star tailback, the late Trevyn Smith, is among the Weber State alums to be honored in the Weber State Athletics Hall of Fame class of 2023.

Smith starred for the Wildcats from 2006-2009 and is the program’s all-time leader in rushing yards (5,029 yards) and touchdowns (43 rushing scores).

His 6,420 scrimmage yards are also a program record.

Smith passed away in July 2019 and is survived by Erica and their four children.

Other Weber State standouts to be honored include Sarah Callister (women’s track and field, 2009-2013), Seth Pilkington (men’s track and field/cross country, 2005-2008), Nicky Wangsgard (women’s tennis/basketball, 1992-1995) and President Ann Millner (the 11th president of Weber State University; 2002-2012).
