OGDEN, Utah-Per a Friday report, former Manti High School and Weber State star defensive tackle Jared Schiess was honored at the 2022 Waldo Awards on the Weber State University campus.

Schiess, who posted six sacks, nine tackles for a loss and 37 total tackles for the Wildcats, earned the Male Iron Wildcat Award for Strength & Conditioning.

Other noteworthy standouts include football receiver/kick returner Rashid Shaheed earning the male record-breaking performance award and the male career achievement award.
