PROVO, Utah-Tuesday afternoon, BYU men’s basketball head coach Kevin Young announced the signing of Elijah Crawford, a star 6’2″ guard out of Brewster Academy of Wolfeboro, N.H.
Crawford is the 96th best prospect in the nation per the ESPN Top 100 and the sixth-highest recruit in program history.
The native of Augusta, Ga. had previously committed to Stanford before ultimately deciding to sign with the Cougars.
Crawford, a 4.0 student, averaged 12.0 points and 4.3 assists per game last season for the Bobcats.
Crawford chose BYU over Kansas, Florida, Louisville and Wake Forest.
