PROVO, Utah-Tuesday, BYU football landed Eastern Michigan transfer Darius Lassiter through the transfer portal per various reports.

Lassiter, who will be in his senior season for the Cougars, hauled in 40 receptions for 471 yards and four touchdowns last season for the Eagles.

Lassiter grew up in Chandler, Ariz. and El Dorado, Kan. and previously starred at junior college power Butler (Kan.) of El Dorado before continuing his career at Eastern Michigan.
